When I called them they said If I have to buy from Pune i.e through online order then online rates will be applicable, for these rates i'll have to go there personally :( , he also told me to drop mail at their sales team if it helps... But i dont think i'll get any response since I have mailed them a week ago too and no response yet...
 
Was there today and i say frankly they get irked by long distance noobs who keep them calling for some lame doubts :p.
I had to pity them for putting up a brave face for such calls.
So i can understand you not getting replies.

No dealer in India seems to be having this particular netbook. I have been reading rave reviews about the same all over the Internet. It is the ASUS EEE PC 1215B with a AMD E350 processor. The one that is available in India is with a slower, sluggish C50 Brazos proccy which I dont want. Can someone please please please check the E350 version availibility @ Lamington ?? Or else Il have to go with the HP DM1Z !!!

Just bought a Seagate GoFlex Ultra Portable 2.0 (Needs a separate cord for USB 3.0) 1TB External Hard Drive for Rs 4400 from PCGuides at Lamington...

Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Portable 500GB USB 2.0 = 2700/-
2GB MicroSD card(Transcend/SanDisk) = 180/-
4GB MicroSD card(Transcend/SanDisk) = 230/-
4GB USB 2.0(Transcend/SanDisk) pen drive = 270/-

He bought it for his friend, so i cannot even confirm the model of the product. Prices should be similar in other Lami shops.

regarding the goflex drive, it comes with a detachable connector for USB 2 and 3. I observed that this connector is somewhat loose and in the course of time after its warranty period, it will require replacement. So i will suggest that the FAGO expansion is better and even low in price.
 
FAGo isnt an expansion drive. Expansion drive = External power required = Not so portable.

Hence we prefer 500GB portable over even 1 TB expansion because we use it a lot with laptops when there is no external power source nearby or when it is not easy to connect to it and stay bounded.
 
Any preference over Seagate over WD i already have a Seagate FreeAgent GO which one should i get ? need a 500GB
