If you cant get the 160GB model cheap of maxtor buy it,when u rma it later can get 250GB(its the least model dats mass manuf. and is single platter)

i dint understand this line ...
and the model u are telling me are d 1z wich require AC voltage...m rather lookin wich directly use power thru USB..

is a LG 250 GB hard disk for 3k a bad deal????

You can try Sonal Infosoft in Nehru Place. Mostly a wholesale. But a little away from the Main market. It is near the microsoft bldg. You can call for address on 26233520.

That chap lives in near wazirpur. So you have a convenient option of getting the stuff in North Delhi. BUT...they dont go to NP everyday since they have 2-3 businesses. So there may be a delay of a day or 2.

I have been using this source since last 2-3 years. Better than going all the way to NP. But to do the research (new products or prices), you still may have to go to NP.
 
My friend got Windows 7 Retail from a shop in Nehru Place 2 days ago.

Does anyone know where I can get it from in Nehru Place? Also, can I get the OEM version? Or only retail...

2. Gigabyte G31M-ES2L MotherBoard

3. Kingston 1GB DDR2 800MHz RAM

Just to update you on Windows 7 availability in Nehru Place.

The only version that is available at the moment is Widnows 7 Professional 32-Bit OEM for around Rs 7,000/- at Softmart Solutions which is in Nehru Place. They said the 64-Bit OEM versions will come around next week. Retail also around next week.

Lynx is giving the A785GE for 3535 + shipping. But a TE member got it for just 3k at Lamington.

Where's abacus peripherals at NP?
