Hey man..

no offense to the developers.... this game sucks big time... i was taken into perception that i was playing NFS-2 8 years back.. if u know what i mean.... i dont think this whole idea of taking the race off the streets did them any good... and whats the fun in playing a NFS race game without any COP trouble.. The tracks seems like a big joke to me.. u know.. i have been a big fan of NFS Underground series... and i finished them all but this one is gonna get a miss for sure..

I've played all NFS games till now....but this is the worst effort by EA on nfs till now....Personally i loved the graphics & gameplay of MW the most....

When I first started playing Pro Street I thought the gameplay sucked real bad, but now that I've upgraded my cars I really like the track racing feel it has, enjoying it throughly! :D

me too.............i absolutely adored the NFS Most Wanted..............really awesome.................its a perfect 10/10 for NFS MW in regards to everything.............grafix,gameplay..............i can go on..............

lol.. just coz the game is difficult people are saying it sucks.. gr8 game once you've got ur setups right.. lots of feel to it, both under breaking and when accelerating. Most of the tracks are real streets, just laid out to make a track.. i liked the game, but the career can be a bit boring. Will be great fun to play online. Just bought the game, anyone else who's gonna play online?

i tried to play this game and within 2 hrs of playing, my head started paining me... This is really the worst NFS game ever.

And about difficulty and all, it is not difficult for me to play NFS- pro street, in the two hrs, I completed 3-4 race rooms and never lost a single race... But this game is real shit... I have stopped playing it and dont know if ever play it again...

I liked NFS most wanted the most, I have already completed its career 3 times and will start the 4th one soon...

you give some hope....i'll continue for a while then...

The thing about PS is that its very realistic.

Try doing a lap with a Tier 3 car with full Stage 3 mods and slide it around, check your lap time.

Follow the racing lines, brake accurately and watch 10 seconds zoom off and its a lot easier to handle then.

If you've raced in reality before you will understand and try to adapt your driving style in the game I'm sure you'll love it throughly!

I would love to hear Arun's opinions on this one though, cause he'd know what he's talking about when it comes to NFS :D

well... i agree with sathya... people are cursing it just coz they can't play it... gameplay is just great... the way cars handle.. the damage... its much better than the previous versions...
the graphics.. well... what u expect from them?? do u want it based on crytech engine or like that?? lol...

IMHO, EA should take a nice long break from the NFS series and sleep over the thought of the next game in the series. They really rushed up which the last 2 games (PS and Carbon).

A Shelby GT500 can't do 403 km/h and stand on two wheels for 387meters (my longest wheelie against the drag queen) So it's pretty much an arcade racer still.

Grip racing is slightly realistic, and drift is much tougher than it was earlier, but cars still don't drift quite correctly - only on a preset entry angle and line. The tyres are still quite grippy in drift mode. No more half a million points in drift like in UG/2 or Carbon.

The game works best with all aids off (King level assists), but then the AI is quite tough. Rewarding to win races in that mode.

I actually like the game. It is not as difficult as a pure sim ala GTR2 (at which I suck, BTW), but is still very much an arcade racer - one where you have to use your brakes and your brains. Almost like a arcade version of NFS: PU, except with dual axle dynamics instead of independent wheels.

I didn't care for the unbelievable handling of Carbon and MW. In those games you could take a 90 degree turn at a hundred miles an hour. Come on!

I guess if you like the handling and driving of NFS post the underground series, you'll hate PS. If you've played the old NFS games - High stakes, Hot Pursuit 2, this game is more like those with slightly more difficult/realistic handling and with a car upgrade and tweaking path (if a little unrealistic).

The thing that I really like about the game is that rubberband AI is gone, pretty much. That irritated me no end in all the NFS games from Underground onwards. Good riddance.

The second thing I like is that it's off the streets. Mumbai is anyway becoming a nuisance due to all the street racers with their loud flashy rides which are probably not road legal, and irresponsible driving. I don't want to come back home to another street race situation. Those spoilt little brats have stock parts under the hood and a lot of bling on the body - kinda pointless if you ask me. Anyway that's sufficiently OT.

well tbh i have liked it pretty much too.. like evil and anish...
been playing it for past 3-4 days and its fun.. lots more than it was while playing UG2, MW and Carbon... you can't take high speed turns without thinking about damaging your car... and have to take the best line to make the next turn successfully.... i am much more of a fan of racing games which make you drive on perfect lines be it playing against AI... so this one seems good... but nothing like playing GTR or TOCA... may be EA tried to catch some more people from that section... like they have done it in FIFA series, but it seems like they are loosing there own fans doing all this :P

One trend I've noticed is that in almost *all* NFS threads, somebody pops up and makes a reference to PU.

After that about 10 blokes will add.. "PU was awesome, the best racing sim to date, but I simply loved MW."

That is REALLY FUNNY cause the handling in those two games was sooo much different completely like another world, so I prefer to ignore the statements of a lot of people who say they enjoyed PU and UG 1/2, MW and Carbon but PS sucks!
