HEY GUYS, NEED ADVICE REGARDING PROCCY UPGRADE FOR MY EXISTING MOBO.
I HAVE HP PAVILION a1515in PURCHASED IN 2007 WITH FOLL SPECS.
Base processor : Pentium4 524 (P) HT 3.06 GHz
•533 MHz front side bus
•Socket 775
Chipset : ATI Radeon Xpress 200 for Intel Processors
Motherboard : •Manufacturer: ECS
•Motherboard Name: RC410-M
•HP/Compaq motherboard name: Asterope2-GL8E
GPU : Integrated ATI Radeon Xpress 200
Memory : 2 x 512 mb ddr2 sdram
Maximum allowed 2 GB (2 x 1 GB)
Speed supported PC2-4200 MB/sec
Type 240 pin, DDR2 SDRAM
SMPS : 250 W PSU FROM HP
SO THE PROBLEM IS GUYS I AM INTENDING TO UPGRADE MY SYS WITH DEDICATED GPU, THINKING FOR SAPHIRE 1 GB HD4670(Since I only play 2009 games at medium settings) WITH GIGABYTE 460W SMPS
NOW THE ISSUE IS THAT I HEARD FR VARIOUS PPL AND READ THIS THREAD FROM BELOW LINK THAT I MAY NOT GET THE FULL BENEFIT/GOOD FPS FROM MY HD4670 GPU DUE TO CPU BOTTLENECK(Since I have a single core proccy).
LOW FPS WITH HD 4670; CPU BOTTLENECK? - ATI - Graphic-Displays
SO GUYS I NEED UR HELP/ADVICE REGARDING A DUAL CORE PROCCY THAT IS COMPATIBLE WITH MY EXISTING MOBO AND AVOID ANY CPU BOTTLENECK IN FUTURE.
MY MOTHERBOARD SPECIFICATION AND COMPATIBLE PROCCCY SERIES IS BELOW FOUND FROM HP'S SITE.
