I don't mind the delay although it does seem a bit too much. Would happily play this on the PC with the improved visuals as and when it arrives. As such I have an RPG to keep me occupied for a at least a fortnight.

I'm fearing this game to be like Darkness were lot was expected but could not deliver much
 
Darkness II? Didn't deliver on the expectations?

Dunno about you, but it was a pretty solid game on all counts, except the shitty MP co-op side.

I personally loved Darkness II. It was a very fun game, with incredible gfx, and it tried to do so many new things.

Dunno how you didn't like it...

Different people have different expectations. As simple as that.

Dinesh might have set his bar really high for Darkness II, just like many others did for Crysis 2, Mass Effect 3 etc. and ended up being disappointed largely, cribbing and whining about it later.

Expectations kill everything! Expect nothing and you shall not be disappointed.
 
The short length of game was biggest downer , the game could have been way better if it would have been lengthier since there was a very good scope of upgrades in the game
 
I didn't like the first either. Terrible gfx with super repetitive gameplay. But that won't stop me from "trying" this out

Yeah i'd agree with you on that, it could have been one or two hours longer. But i personally feel rather than 10 hours of mediocracy, 6-7 hours of awesomeness is better!
 
Reviews incoming!

  • CVG: 8.0 - There's an abundance of weak missions and a daft storyline, but the free-running and combat are a joy - plus, it's fantastically bloody throughout.
  • OPM UK: 9/10 - A far stronger game than the original in every aspect, and a compelling counterpoint to inFamous 2, Prototype 2 is nothing less than a gore-packed sandbox masterpiece throughout.
  • GamesMaster: 86% - Prototype 2 gives power to the player in ways many titles can only dream of. It gives you options, it lets you explore and experiment, and it's a riotous and compulsive experience. Drink it in.
  • IGN: 7.0 - Having no impact is kind of the M.O. of Prototype 2. I enjoyed leveling up Heller and completing side quests, but none of it really meant anything to me. Outside of the Trophies I have for my efforts, I doubt I'll remember much of Prototype 2's sterile side missions and curse word-laden dialogue. Prototype 2 is fun, but it sure is forgettable.
  • Games Radar: 8/10 - If you're looking for an epic, hugely varied adventure, look elsewhere, but if you want a game that lets you run amok in creative, bloody ways, Prototype 2 is pretty incredible.
  • Destructoid: 8/10 - Simply put, Prototype 2 is your number one choice for anybody who wants to inflict abject biological horror on an entire army of helpless individuals who are nonetheless just nefarious enough for you to feel justified.

now where to buy this game??? i cannot see in letsbuy or nextworld . and flipkart showing rs 2499 . I will never buy for this price....

The real price is 2799 i think.at that price they are actually giving you a discount.
