Completed the game yesterday and quite surprisingly, I loved the story towards the ending (it did become a bit predictive at times) with that emotional touch to it, although Cornell Womack's voice acting (he's the same guy who voice Doyle, the primary antagonist of Farcry) for James Heller was pretty commendable - all that rage and fury was well portrayed. Boss fights got a bit boring and with Heller unlocking more mutant powers towards the end and upgrading them, the boss battles became a walk in the park. The Blacknet side missions became a bit repetitive as well - Heller seemed like doing the same thing again and again. Consume a random scientist or Blackwatch trooper, recollect the last memory, undo something. I attempted several Blacknet missions but gave up towards the end. The save file showed a game completion time of about 62% after the ending and must have clocked close to 10 hours or so. I think I loved this one over the first title thanks to the improved gameplay mechanics and the new powers, Radical Entertainment managed to pull off a very good sequel. It was very unfortunate that they underwent some massive layoffs recently. Good luck to the developers - here's hoping that they find a new home.
