One questions guys.Now obviously I won't be going online when I have the dongle on but I'm a big fan of some multiplayer games.Will I be able to play online if I have the dongle removed?

Once you remove the dongle, the PS3 comes back to the original state. No changes are retained.
The catch is, to play online NOW, you need to have 3.56 and this one is only for 3.41 so thins dongle is not for you, if you want to play online. In fact no dongle is useful in that case.
