Sorry for bumping this thread, but have not got the psu yet rather have got all the other stuff except PSU but now i need it badly.

How good GlacialPower GP-AL650AA is compared to Corsair VX550?

GlacialPower GP-AL650AA is around 4.4k through Lynx should i get this or VX550?

Edit:- Tagan BZ600(Modular) Or Tagan TG600-U33 both around 6K any good?

Urgent

Get the GlacialPower. The VX550 is overpriced. Only downside is the shorter warranty duration, but definately worth it considering the price.

With all due respect,

Are you mad Aniruddh? :)

You just sold a P45 rig that maybe just needed a gpu upgrade to be more potent for a phenomII upgrade, that too DDR3 1333? :S

That too so ill-timed looking at the hardware you had considering P55 is just some months away.

Either P55 will blow everything off the radar and/or PhenomII and DDR3 will become significantly cheaper. :)

So will you upgrade in a few months again? :)

I am sorry.

I am just looking at the prices you bought your stuff for just few months back, the prices you sold it for, the loss incurred and the % gains with the new stuff for additional expense. :(

If anyone advised you this upgrade, i am not sure if he/she/they is/are your friend/s. :(

I am indeed very moved- you culd have spent your money more fruitfully in few months time. :)

BTW,

how much does a TX650 cost you now?

Keep a lookout for used TX650/TX750.

Won't the VX450 handle that rig for now?

hhmm may be i did make a mistake by updating my rig at this point of time, but then there were few things which made me do so.which i guess mohit did tell you yesterday.

Well have ordered HX620 psu, should get it in 2-3 days time.

thanks a ton.Cheers :)
