Anyway, no matter what company or store, refurb deals make sense only if you are living in states. There you can check the product. And if its not to your satisfaction return it or hit the jackpot on really good new like product.
Basically its a hit or miss. These are mostly returned items so they are not perfect.
I have used quite a few refurbed iPods, and I also own one.. generally they are good, but sometimes the click-wheel buttons dont give the 'click' response. The buttons feel worn out pretty soon. Otherwise everything is under the usual 1-year warranty, and the body of the product is completely changed, so no scratches or anything.
