District 9: Crazy, Crazy piece of filmmaking, went for dinner after watching the movie and still couldn't wrap my head around how much of a realistic "documentary" feel it had to it. Brilliant! 9/10

I have not seen the original version by Wes Craven but the remake is very good.

Letters from Iwo Jima - 9/10.

That explains the Japanese part of the story - Flags of our fathers. But this was a much better watch than the latter. Awesome background score. Not much of bloodshed. A lot of emotions poured in the movie for any war movie I've seen till date.
