Gulaal 4 out of 5

Very intense screenplay with some excellent acting by Abhimanyu Singh (Ransa) and KK Menon (Dukey).

(Only gripes for me is that the movie's ending could have been better)

invictus ... story of south african rugby team being inspired by nelson mandela ... good watch , clint eastwood movies are always good to see

the blind side , very nice and warm to the heart movie ...sandra bullock should definitely get an award for this

THE HURT LOCKER - 9.2/10:

Set in Iraq, this film follows the work of a bomb expert. The story is deep and is more of a character study rather than being plot driven! What makes this War film awesome, and the best of recent times, is that it transcends politics and focuses on its kick-ass action scenes, filmed like a documentary putting the viewer in front line ! The film is filled with scenes that will keep you at the edge of your seat and biting your nails. The diffusion scenes are long ,realistic and very very tense ! High on entertainment stuff, high on drama stuff( but doesn't get preachy for a second )...this film is filmed like a Wild Man! (although the director is a female....lol!)

Probably the best film I've seen this year!

^^ it was entertaining for the first half or so.
but the problem I had with the movie is that the hero is basically indestructible making it lose much of the the tension towards the end. It would have been way better imo if the hero was a guy who was actually scared for his life than the rambo act. Also the pacifist officer getting killed the moment he gets on the field was far too obvious.

Any episode of generation kill rates better than it for me but I agree that it is still one of the better movies from hollywood recently.

See IMDb’s Top 25 Movies of the Decade | /Film

Notable tidbits:

* Christopher Nolan is the only director to have four films on the above list, making him the director of the decade according to IMDb voters.

* Peter Jackson has three films in the top 25, the Lord of the Rings trilogy

* Only the two most recent Pixar releases of the seven released in the decade place in the top 25 films of the decade.

* Only Three sequels made the list: The Return of the King, The Two Towers and The Dark Knight.

* Avatar is riding high on the list at #5, #24 of all time with only 69,101 votes. As what often happens on IMDb, this film will float down the list as more votes come in, and probably won’t become stable until the home video release.

Rocket Singh : 3.5/5

One of the better Hindi movies I have seen this year. Ranbir Kapoor doesn't enough credit, IMO he is a fine actor. Also the actors playing Suri and Nitin were brilliant.
