Kites: 0/10

Wat a... *ahem* movie... Its a bollywood movie..but NOT a hindi movie! There may be only around 10 dialogues in hindi...

No story..only buffalo sh!t.

Saw Avataar.... Dam.. i felt the movie was stretched uselessly! 1200 cr. just invested in Blue Surrounding and Blue people! not at all close to the hype.. and dont think even if i had seen in 3d i'd have changed my reaction.. although there are some good scenes in the movie when they fly on those dragon type birds and that flamy Hunter bird... but then thats it.. One more thing interesting and good was the Expressions on the Avataar ppl.. which was done using Virtual 3D Cam.. Technically the movie is rock solid.. (technicall = in terms of tech used).. otherwise its yawning while watching.

Someone just mentioned Kites Failed.. You Guys really WASTE money on Indian Movies?? That too for stupid plots and actors? That movie has nothing appealing.. Marketing of the movie more screwed up as they were just high-lighting Hrithik kissing barbara (yukkkkkkkkk)... Yes Yukk for Hrithik Kissing her.. Hrithik = Hre-Think!! Dude!

The Wizard of Oz - 10/10

So nice to see that in 1939 Hollywood was capable of such. Great songs, nice story, cutie munchkins....!

Two back to back Post-Apocalyptic survival tales(both were almost similar in their storyline).

1)The Road - 9 out of 10 (excellent portrayal of a Father caught between hope and inevitability by Viggo Mortenson)

2) The Book of Eli - 8 out of 10 (Dignified (under) acting by Denzel with some real nice action sequences and tight screenplay)

Taking Chance - 4 out of 5

Throughout the movie, viewers are shown how greatly the US of Americans value their soldiers (martyrs). I was just started to wonder how good we are as Indians respect our protectors. Immediately ghosts of Mumbai 26/11, Dantewada and even the poor inspector who had to die in southern Tamilnadu without any help form the watching crowd (in front of lots of media people and impotent ruling state ministers) came into my mind. Despite being a most loved/hated (depends on the viewer) nation by many, there is a lot to learn from USA. And one such thing is what this movie depicts.

The Book of ELi - 4/10.

Boring movie.

Story is a little tooooo much to believe. No great action sequence. not a great story. Overall nothing is great here except Denzel.

Wolfman - 5/10

Some scenes are interesting but there are many gory scenes
Another boring movie. These days my luck is bad with hollywood movies...watching all BS movies
Kedi(T) - 3/10 - First half was ok but the second half was dragged tooo much and there are many holes in the plot. Music is descent by sundeep chowtha
