Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

The last movie which I saw before this was 'Donnie Darko' which also starred Jake Gyllenhaal.

In the scene where he goes back in time and is simply holding the dagger in the middle of the fight it really felt like pure deja-vu.

Donnie Darko is an awesome movie that makes you think and so is POP: SOT for a nice pop corn movie.

Donnie Darko - 8/10

POP: SOT - 6/10

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time - 8/10
Went in with very low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. :) The movie is actually quite fun.. reminded of The Mummy, which was also a mindless movie but complete time-pass. This movie is also in a similar vein. Jake Gyllenhaal is initially awkward, but his performance gets better as the movie progresses. Gemma Artherton looks really beautiful throughout the movie, but looks very out of place.

Iron Man 2 - 7.5

<3 Gwyneth Paltrow & Scarlett . Apart from that lotta Robotic Kung-fu,impressive action scenes with a simple ending but that did not affect the movie ratings and a perfect little setup for Iron Man 3.

valhalla rising:3/10.
Any particular reason you disliked the movie? Did you go in expecting Beouwulf or Lord of the Rings stuff? Everyone who has disliked th movie has done so because of this misrepresentation. It's a festival circuit film.

I'd rate Valhalla Rising a 9/10. Great visuals and a wonderful story. The plot is deilberately vague and the main character is mute. The viewer is left to interpret the finer details of the film. Who is One-Eye? Where are they?
Did they reach America without realizing it? Does it base itself over the vague historical evidence that the Vikings reached America before Columbus? Was One-Eye having visions and being led to his destination by fate?

The historical setting of the film is what makes this a 9/10. The combat is realisitic and visceral. The characters seem perfect for the time. If you go in expecting a nice action packed flick, stay away. If you like circuit films go for it!

Saw Kites yesterday and it was a 5.5. Not the best direction.. decent story. Liked the ending but was a tad bit predictable. Tried to use the flashbacks but couldn't do it as well as other movies (like Momento) did.

Next movie I'll see could possibly be Prince of Persia: Sands of Time today.

Housefull

Damn one of the worst movie that I have ever seen  Don't even feel like rating it :|
Totally agree with that one.. saw it cause my friends wanted to go out and celebrate with a movie. If I can give negative ratings, I would :p

The Sound of Music - 9/10. Excellent musical. Saw it as a child, could still sing the songs...!

Prince of Persia - 5 /10. Movie does not retain the pace for the type of genre. Acting is decent, predictable character development.
