Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

Thanks for the reply guys.. Gonna watch the originals first and then the prequels. New Hope > The Empire Strikes Back > Return of the Jedi..right?

Rise of The Planet of Apes - 8/10. Better than expected.

We gave the logic to watch in which order. Your choice, else flip a coin.

And guys i know how good are the Godfather series even my dad also says so(Even read the novel) :|..Actually I will watch them. :) Also they are quite long 3 hours each.

I am infinitely patient in comparison. I've watched the Japanese WWII saga - The Human Condition - all three parts on successive days (Friday, Sat and Sun) and they total 579 minutes in all. My next pet project is to find a Sunday devoid of any disturbance and watch Satantango at one go - that is only 450 mins long.

It's just an acquired taste. Sometimes all it requires is a good movie to kick start the change in direction. For me, it would be Kurosawa's "Seven Samurai" until which I was mostly tied to Hollywood movies.

Warrior (2011) - X/10

I have never rated a movie 10/10 from my side, reason:

1) Never felt any movie came close to perfect 10.

2) Thought it would be blasphemy.

But having said that, i am not gonna rate this movie atm. I am just fresh from its screening and this movie is threatening and ready to demand a score of 12.

A Must watch movie. (Tom Hardy was just awesome).

They are absolutely worth the watch, cause a whole new universe is created and spans a lot of galaxies. You should absolutely not watch them in the order they came out. The latter productions are actually prequels and tell about the childhood/life of Anakin Skywalker. Part three of the new batch ends with the birth of the hero of the first movie from the first batch. Basically when the initial movie came out (New Hope) people like Darth Vader much more than Han Solo and Luke Skywalker, Vader went on to get cult status.

Order would be:

The Phantom Menace
Attack of the Clones
Revenge of the Sith
A New Hope
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
Are you out of your mind man?
Mods delete that post to keep Generation-Y from ruining the Star Wars experience for themselves :P.

The order in which the movies were made is the only correct way to experience the SW saga.

The HDTV one or B-ray? Iirc, runtime on b-ray extended is more than the HDTV ones :P

^ Oh dear lord! I wonder what that would be like?! :O

I had watched LOTR HDTV extended ones and it felt like an eternity.

I think it's time for me to watch Star Wars again. I had watched the original trilogy long back when I was a kid and I don't even remember anything. :ashamed:

I watched the first 2 parts of the newer ones but didn't pay much attention to it.

Nope. you are wrong. The Generation Y are more impatient than you think. :P. They should see in proper order only. :D
Implying that the 'proper' order is anything other than in which the movies were released to the world?

Ah well, just one more way by which Gen-X is cooler.
