Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

Cabin in the woods 7/10. Story kind of moves till half time, then it's quite obvious what's gonna happen. But I would really want to see...
what happens next when ancient ones walk on earth and when humans fight with them

Ek tha Tiger : LOL.
(Its no use to rate the movie which has crossed 100 cr in 5 days. Just a pledge to self - "I will never watch any Salman movie". :P)

American Reunion - 6.5 /10

Pretty cool movie, though I missed few part of the series, this one is again hilarious and a decent story to top it all. Couldn't get any better end than this :)

Underworld : 8/10.. loved the storyline, action was stylish was but was funny also sometimes. Overall liked the movie.
Underworld 2 : 7/10.. this one lacked in storyline. But the action was much better in this one. One time watch.

Ek Tha Tiger : ROFL.. wtf.. why did they even make this movie.

Now getting hyped about Expendables 2. Will be going for it tomorrow. Cant wait to see the action sequences, blasts and all actors on one screen..:)

Thanks Mate.

hehe .. well there is in some movies .. :p

Can't agree more. Its a masterpiece! 10/10.

Lost Highway [1996]. Could barely understand it, can't rate.

Don't know about gun recoils in Hindi movies but can't forget SRK flying with the bullet that hit him in Baazigar. Talk about overacting. Thank god he was not hit by a sniper bullet and only by small pistol bullets.

Will add Lost Highway to my list alongwith Thin Red Line '98.

I rewatched Flags of Our Fathers last night.

Saving Private Ryan highlights the effort of a select few on a mission to rescue the last surviving Ryan brother. When you see this movie you get a sense of pride, patriotism and respect.

Flags of Our Fathers is bang opposite. It shows the effect on the soldiers' mind (imagine Ryan here) when they are lifted from the battlefield to help increase sale of war bonds as they were the ones that were in a picture which symbolized hope to a nation that really didn't want to be in a war but was dragged into it (Actually no country wants to be in a war). The soldiers except one - the opportunist - really wanted to be in the field battling and not be a part of the sham that they were being used for. It shows an opportunist, a man with guilt and a medic who silently endures this (and continues) and their struggle with the word Hero. It also shows the neglect towards the real heroes as one who was in the picture was not credited and the rise and fall of these so called Heroes.

Both movies condemn war and I feel those who have not seen either of the movies should watch them and also add Letters From Iwo Jima to that list which shows the story of the opposite camp on Iwo Jima.

3 very good movies. One would be a fool to claim that one movie is better than the other 2 in the list.
