Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

^^ i guess you missed the second line of my post:

My father is in the Air Force, so maybe I watched the movie just thanks to that. Still does not change the fact that the characters are shallow and obtuse and never you mind that the action scenes are one long chest thumping ovation to the Spec Ops of the US.

If you want to see war, I suggest Band of Brothers, The Pacific and Generation Kill, heck even Lakshya (minus the tacky love angle) was a better viewing experience than this.

Saw Tower Heist today 6.5/10 starring Ben Stiller.
The movie started off well, but lost was it in the end.
Not much of any remarkable scenes, not much of comedy. All in all a bland movie.

Barfi : 9/10 Must See...

OMG! : 8/10 really liked the movie... Shows how faith has been transformed into business and God is used to induce fear to extract money...

The Dark Knight rises-9/10,Bane's accent(quality of voice?) has been carefully/masterfully made.anyway, the darkness helps me because i have nurtured it and blah blah blah......

i always knew Barfi was copied from various films but for the first time at least it was a good amalgamation.

OMG : 8/10
10/10 for daring to tell the truth. Paresh Rawal is perfect for such sarcastic dialogues.
( I hope Astha channel buys the rights and broadcasts it everyday :D )

GOW 2 : 7/10

English Vinglish - 9/10

What a brilliant movie! Sridevi makes a terrific comeback after a 16 year sabbatical. This happens to be Gauri Shinde's (wife of R. Balki who shot Paa and Cheeni Kum) directorial debut. Amit Trivedi's (composer of Dev D, Wake Up Sid, Udaan) music composition and soundtracks were really commendable. Some of the sequences were so well shot and the performance of the actors on the screen were surreal.

And if you thought Vidya Balan was awesome in TDP and the more recent Kahaani, go give this a watch - you are going to love this! Besan laddoo lovers - you are in for a treat. Take a bow Sridevi!
