Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

I enjoyed Ee Adutha Kalathu much more though.

Somehow my radar missed that. And it looks like this one didn't make it to the PVR Surat. Most of them do, particularly the ones that did well back in Kerala.

Anyhow, thanks for the reco. Shall watch it soon.

Hitchcock (2012) 9/10
Based on a Alfred Hitchcock's journey of making the movie Psycho (one of the greatest suspense movie). Anthony Hopkins as Alfred Hitchcock is amazing (strong Oscar nominee). Also Helen Mirren as his wife also does a wonderful job. Must see :)

I found it to be a really stupid movie, specially with the perversion in there. Ruined it.

Well yea, but I was expecting it coz I saw it in the trailer. The bear pokes fun at the whole of US. Struck a chord with me. ;)
The party scene with Flash Gordon was hilarious.

Dredd - 8/10

Very good visual effects, sound tracks and slow-motion sequences.

And that minigun sequence OMG! Just insane. :hail:Was blew away by the sound effects on the 5.1 system - on the theater this could have been nothing short of awesomeness! Reminded me of Rambo 4's mounted gun sequence.

Evil Dead Trailer(s):

Haha, I remember reading about this sometime back. Promises to be an awesome horror-movie, really creepy and lots of gore. Initially shot down by the (apparent) legion of Evil Dead fans, this trailer reassured most of them that it would live up to the original. And Bruce Campbell is one of my favourite TV actors, ever since I saw Burn Notice.

Though this trailer satisfies the gore-hound in me, I'm not sure if it would retain the essence of the original film. I mean, for it's time, Evil Dead was a cult movie. It's sequel still holds the top spot in my most scariest movies of all time. If this hits the Indian cinemas (unaltered), then it would be first day, first show. How I wish the original's could have been re-mastered and shown on the big screen too. That would have been an amazing experience. :)

Yups good movie. Honestly I had DL'ed it for MaMa (Lena Headey); but the movie was good too. I had put it in here before: The sounds effects are awesome, i.e.; the background score.

:annoyed:

Pls dude.. that dredd saying MaMa was silly enuf.. dont remind abt it again.. Stone cold fellow with never ending pout saying mama looked really awkward.

I read they plan a trilogy of the dredd movies, and i hope they name their villains as something like Karlito Kankas / Chabert Chavez / Pablo Parker / Taicho Yin etc. Then it ll be real fun.
