Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

If the movie is shot is 3D aesthetically, the outcome can be good. Avatar had one of the best 3D effects.

But movies which use 2D footage to convert to 3D in post-production are gimmicks indeed. It's just a way to grab cash from the audience who are all willing to dole up twice the ticket price to catch the movie in 3D. The studios haven't yet learned, and many more 2D shot movies are being released in 3D simultaneously, one example being the upcoming Ironman 3, they never learn.

True that. I found that the animated movies have the best 3D most of the time. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the 3D in Jack the Giant Slayer and GI-Joe Retaliation. The movies were not that good but the action scenes in 3D were quite nice.

recently watched Bourne Legacy : 6/10 - a decent watch. I thought I was a remake of original story - but rather it's a parallel story (like Crysis Warhead :P) and well implemented.

Jurassic Park 3D in IMAX.
3D was great and subtle instead of being in your face kind of 3D. Iron Man 3's 3D trailer looked atrocious compared to JP.

One issue is that whenever Samuel Jackson was on screen, it was like this

Are you fking kidding me???:rage:
WTF is wrong with our censor board??

^^

What?... They are giving a public service message. If u cant take it, close your eyes.
I don't smoke cigarettes, but even I get annoyed by those messages every time someone takes a puff on screen. Just a message at the starting and maybe the ending is fine, it distracts from the film by bringing you back to reality when you've been immersed.

If that's the case, then these require warnings every time more than anything else: Using guns and shooting aimlessly without consequence, jumping over buildings blindly, turning vehicles over randomly, etc...

Isn't it the mandatory message to be put as per Indian censor board, when ever the person consumes.
Indian censor board is nothing more than bunch of hypocritical moral police. Fking morons.
And that is one very stupid rule.

Stop being so holier than thou and make me sound like that too. Its just a public service message. It may or may not help someone.
