Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

Saw rush last night. The best sports movie ever imho. As realistic a portrayal of f1 as possible. This will probably be the top contender for Oscars this year and I would not be surprised if it wins as well. Highly recommended - 10/10 from my side.

Saw 'Rush' today and it seemed Rushed.

The pacing at times was ridiculous. I understand that it was more from the point of view of an ordinary cinema goer but still...
The two friends who accompanied me don't watch F1 or knew what this movie was about, the only thing they did know was it was a movie about cars. I guess the movie catered to such public. Even then while walking out I overheard a girl in the exit queue saying it was boring as it was more or less like a history lesson. In my mind - 'Yeah right, may be someone should strap you to the seat and make you watch races from 2004 and 2011 season.'
Overall watch the movie only to be entertained.

If you are really into F1 or just this rivalry then google and watch - 'The Real James Hunt' or 'Clash of the Titans'.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - A very good fantasy movie but paled in comparison to LOTR. The pace was just too slow and it felt as if Peter Jackson was introducing characters and sequences just to prolong the length (I haven't read the book though). As long as I was comparing it to the LOTR trilogy, the movie felt lacking (and this feeling came quite often). So halfway through it, I just stopped thinking about LOTR and it enjoyed the rest of the movie as a fun-filled fantasy adventure, and guess what.. it was fun.

The Kings of Summer

8/10

One of the best comin-of-age movies I've seen. Good comedy, great acting. Everything was good. Except a small part of the story 3/4 in the movie.

Definite watch, though.

Watch BBC's Hunt Vs Lauda

The Lunch Box - 9/10

Fantastic movie. What classy acting by Irrfan Khan. And this man - Nawazuddin Siddiqui, he will go places. I wish the movie had gone to the Oscars but may be The Good Road deserved it after all. The credits sequence rolled sooner than I thought it would. :p It was that fast paced! Not a moment of boredom.

Sometimes, movies like these (and the more recent Ship of Theseus) remind me that Bollywood isn't dead!

Thanks, but do you mean - 'Clash of the Titans'? I think it was made by BBC 2 or BBC TV and it's full title is 'Clash of The Titans - Lauda Vs Hunt'.

@Gannu - Thanks for mentioning 'The Good Road'. A friend had told me about a Gujarati movie that was on it's way to Oscars but I had forgotten about it.

Now if I can find this movie + I am planning to watch 'Meghe Dhaka Tara (2013)' tomorrow, this weekend then this weekend should be fantastic.

The Good Road - 4/10 .... I didn't liked the movie. Movie was slow, boring and performances of cast was not up to mark.I can't comment on its oscar entry as i've not watched other oscar entries.
