Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

Bridge of Spies: 7/10 Overall a good movie, with Routine Spielberg stuff. Very repeatative 2nd WW scenes. Rests heavily on Hanks acting, who doesn't disappoint. Though not suited for best movie of the year , must watch.

Spotlight : 9/10 Excellent stuff, very beautifully scripted with indulging narrative revolving around scandalous pedophile priests. All Lead actors have given very good performance. Must Watch

I personally enjoyed BvS. Batfleck delivered the best Batman ever.
That dream sequence with Batman in a trenchcoat blowing up shit :D.

The horrible Lex Luthor casting ruined the movie though.
That was some truly godawful acting, why was he channeling Shahrukh Khan?

Sultan : 7/10
Its a good movie overall and full Paisa Vasool. Salman's Last movie which was thoroughly entertaining was Dabangg IMHO. This one is very well written, though employing all typical Bollywood Masala but keeps you hooked till the very end. Salman has shown how good a actor he can be, if he tries very hard.
Both Anushka and Randeep Hooda roles get truncated to keep Salman at the lead which is unfortunate. At Nearly 3hrs its tad too long could've been edited well especially cutting few unnecessary songs.
Its a well made Bollywood Masala movie and thats it, keep your expectations accordingly and you won't be disappointed.

Wazir : 1/10. What an utter nonsense waste of time and space. Seriously, what were they thinking. Big B seems to be over. One of those historical movies, where the teaser trailor beats the main deal.

Saala Khadoos : 8/10. Great watch, really liked it.

Hardcore Henry - 8/10
Best action movie since John Wick released, I've always wanted to see an action flick done in first person ever since I watched the "Smack My b**ch Up" music video in school, this was greenlit after the popularity of a fan-made flick that was doing the rounds online a few years back iirc.
Sure the cgi is poor and the acting and plot are campy but it has the best action choreography I've witnessed in quite some time, the editing is quite commendable too.
Although I personally didn't have a problem watching it, I can imagine it being quite the headache or motion sickness inducing ride for some people because of the perspective and shaky cam, there was a solid first person sequence in "The Brothers Grimsby" too but it wasn't as jarring as this one.

I thought Hardcore Henry wasn't very well done; low-def GoPro first person photography coupled with mediocre action choreography.
Only Sharlto Copley made the movie somewhat tolerable.

The 5 minute first person segment in Brothers Grimsby was extremely well done (even though the movie itself was garbage).

mediocre action choreography.

Lol I'd like to know what action movies you like if you found this mediocre, I agree about the GoPro thing but a man cannot do parkour with a Red Epic attached to his head.
As for Sharlto Copley, I was just surprised that he can be something else other than a retarded South African Dutchman for once.

Star Trek Beyond: 7.5/10

Decent flick with a nice story. Much more exploration and character development than the previous two pure action movies. This one is a lot closer in purpose to the TV series.

The slower pacing makes it more bearable and there are no ham scenes like the previous episodes. Worth a watch.

Criminal (2016) - 9/10

Plot Summary:In a last-ditch effort to stop a diabolical plot, a dead CIA operative's memories, secrets, and skills are implanted into a death-row inmate in hopes that he will complete the operative's mission.

Audience Impression: I felt emotional towards the end. Because a death row Inmate becomes emotionally involved with the family of the dead CIA Operative whose memories he shares and tries to give his life for them but the movie has a happy ending.

Locke (2013) - 8/10. This was probably Tom Hardy's best performance among the movies I've seen.
Just one man in he entire movie.Just shows how good an actor he is.To be honest I cannot remember a single movie apart from Castaway where one man had to carry a movie on his own and succeeded with such aplomb.

BTW you should check out The Drop as well for Tom Hardy's class act at the very end of the movie.

But I think his best work so far has been Alfie in Peaky Blinders....Hot damn!!!!!

Yup, watched both The Drop and the Peaky blinders. Still think Locke is his best performance. The monologue in season 3 was awesome though when he had a gun to his forehead.

Criminal - 3/10
This movie's like a B grade bollywood flick you'd expect Emraan Hashmi or Mithun to star in, it takes itself way too seriously, I couldn't make it past 30 mins of this trainwreck.

Keanu - 3/10
I've enjoyed some Key & Peele sketches in the past but this one's a damp squib, staring at a potato for 90 mins is funnier than this movie.

Batman: The Killing Joke - 3/10
Worst animation quality I've seen in quite some time, don't really think this comic book in particular needed to be adapted but not even Kevin Conroy or Mark Hamill could save this one.

It was a hat-trick of sh*t movies this week, please save your bandwidth and time

I for one liked The Killing Joke. Not as good as DKR 1 and 2 but definitely not a dud.
Animation quality was standard fare for a WB Animation video release, gets the job done for the low budget I assume they work with.

Hardcore nerds are raging over the fact that Azarello made up the entire first Act, but it made the Barbara Gordon shooting that much more impactful since it made attempts to connect the viewer with the Batgirl character.

Good to see WB Animation pull no punches to make these movies kid friendly, shit gets dark.
