You are right, I thought it was done by priyadarshan, but it seems he is assist director for that. And Hindi is made by a different director.

Good movie especially this dialogue which should be taught in schools/colleges:While watching the shorts on Youtube, I stumbled upon it. Gave it a shot, didn't disappoint.
Nothing in this world can take the place of good old persistence. Talent won't. Nothing's more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius won't. Unrecognized genius is practically a cliche. Education won't. Why the world is full of educated fools. Persistence and determination alone are all powerful.
Sicario (2015) - Mexican drug cartels being taken down is shown beautifully in this film. Its for 1 time see only.
I liked the 2024 miniseries of the same better. That way you could savour the taste of revenge longer.![]()
The Count of Monte-Cristo (aka Le Comte de Monte-Cristo) [2024] - 8.5/10
Really well made and dare I say I actually ended up liking it more than the Jim Caviezel movie from 2002 (which I loved to bits as well and have watched multiple times). The last 45 minutes of the this movie was immensely emotionally involving and impeccably directed. It's of course near impossible to capture the entire gamut of the book because Alexandre Dumas created a rich world with multiple characters and brought everything together like a master craftsman in the end to deliver one of the greatest revenge stores ever told. This movie however tries hard to stick to the book and the core characters which is commendable. It's a French movie but I watched with English audio. Standing at 3 hours it was a watch I truly cherished. Pierre Niney as Edmond Dantès was brilliant, specially in the later parts of the movie.
