I got my samsung 226BW from croma for 11999 all inclusive, and yes it has ususal warranty provided by samsung.

I called croma , they said only offer on Razor Mice , not on kbb's........50% off on MRP. When I asked about warranty the guy on call said that info can only be provided by the respected dept. on the floor.........Hmmmm now should i stock a Krait....

hehe.....i have also seen 3 days ago....its total BS in my IMO....... the OUTER COVER is very very old....ALSO it is not sealed , t did opened it,most of them are unsealed , while 1 or 2 are sealed BUT BY CHEAP tapes......the Date is quite old ......I think those are very old stocks....i have been seeing razor in croma[juhu] for a long time .....the sale is quite poor .

I hope its working..kinda risky

About a year back I spoke to 2 dealers at Lamington Road who claimed that Croma bought Razer stuff exclusively from them, one sells mostly gray market hardware and one is an official importer of computer hardware .... GO FIGURE !!! :P

Now thats called confusion confusion :P

bottomline, if you decide to get one, dont bank on warranty. Else someone mail Razer US and check if they ll honor warranty?

I think They might have Brought and Stocked this Products

Or those can be demo units which are used for While then re Packed ,so selling at such rates.

Since they wanted to liquidate hence they are giving it at 50% .

I was Shocked as how i couldn't came to know about this offer

MODS: Please change title to 50%off on Razer Products,NO warranty

hehehe

Oops, hope I don't regret my decision later..

Anyways, I bought the Razer Krait and the Tarantula from Croma Pune around Diwali time. There is a year warranty according to the salesman. The stock is old but Croma is on the Razer's website as an official distributor so I picked it up.

I have saved the bill and will whip their asses if they deny me service. Nobody told me that there is no warranty on the products. *Fingers crossed*

About the testing part, I checked the mouse and the keyboard on one of their display systems. That is the best part about Croma. All the floor staff is trained nicely to be extremely helpful. :)

PS: The mouse and the keyboard are working perfectly till now. Let's hope it remains so for some time

The reason I was saying that they helpful because they have gone out of their way more than once. Like when I wanted to test the ipod dock they quickly arranged for an iPod and showed me. Same was with the keyboard and mouse. AFAIK it's the only store that's got working mobile sets on display. *fingers still crossed*

To check the quality on one of their 42 inchers, I asked to see a DVD. They got hold of one of their portable DVD players and then arranged for a proper movie DVD @ 16:9 aspect ratio ( they had one containing DON songs @ 4:3 resolution :P ) and then connected it. Made them go through all the settings, switch to TATA Sky and then again see all settings :bleh: No frowns whatsoever.

Now, these may seem like small issues but these matter when you are deciding what to buy, instead of frowning guys who frown and go ooh-aah when you ask them to show you more models. :@

I had opposite experience. Went to Croma ishanya to check out music players. All of those were discharged :P And the guy said he couldnt even connect a power cable to charge so we could test

Excuse given: Sir we charge every night but they become discharged after ppl use them during the day. WTF? On a sunday morning at 1230? How many ppl came shopping there on Sun morning is what I wonder :bleh:
