Meet Joe Black is a one of most boring movies ,I have seen.

Finding Neverland is another boring movie .Although the acting is commendable. Its got johnny dep in it. You have to have lot of paitence to watch this movie

I would suggest you to watch these movies if you want to get some sleep.:bleh:

saw before sunrise and before sunset back 2 back and it was ok...i still think SERENDIPITY,Sweet November & Moulin Rouge were much betta...

saw ONE FINE DAY also and it was also just ok...

Behold! You should first watch the movies listed in post #20, before ewww'ing. If you appreciate art and literature, you're going to like those movies. They have substance, unlike pure chick-flicks.

^ dude, im not sure about others but Legends of the Fall is too boring. Maybe I prefer Mother India or Do Bigha Zameen instead of it. Just my opinion.

IMHO one can stand so many romantic Movies only when the Love Bug has Stuck him/her. Personal experience here !!

Most of the good Romantic Movies have already been listed here , apart from that you can try the following :

NOTE : These are not total romantic movies as in many of them are multi genre films but they are all good and worth a watch IMO. :)

50 First Dates : A Romantic comedy , a very sweet movie.

Punch Drunk Love : Another Sandler flick , only more sensible and better this time.

Mein Meri Biwi Aur Woh :
Ahww ... u will love this.

Ghost : Dont watch it for its supernatural element but watch it for the chemistry between the lovers. I Liked it.

Mr & Mrs iyer :
Another Classic bollywood movie.

Walk the Line :
I simply Loved this movie , Joaquin Phoenix is bloody awesome.

Stranger Than Fiction : I Liked this movie as well , a sweet film.

The Illusionist : Ofcourse how can i forget this one , my all time favourite movie.

The Break-Up :
I Really enjoyed this movie. It was loud but fun.

Laws of Attraction :
Pick this one up only if you r a brosnan fan.

The Fountain :
Complex movie but really well made and acted.

Love Actually :
This may have already been mentioned but this is likethe greatest romantic flick ever made.

Braveheart : Last but not the least "The Braveheart" , yes its an action film but its equally romantic. A must watch for everyone irrespective of the genre.

you hit the nail on the head , i cannot appreciate art and literature , i watch movies for its entertainment value and complete and utter relaxation of myself , which is comedies and action , romanticism is too much sentiment and pain to my head which i dont really want and can happily do without and can spend the same time killing someone in quake and be happy that i spent my time wisely ....
that being said , i dont want to hijack this topic and bring it to something else, i do like romantic comedy and some of the movies in this thread are nice ....

^As i said , you haven't been stuck by the Love Bug yet. Just wait till you do .... you are gonna swallow your own words :D

The Iron Giant (animation) - well not exactly a romantic movie, but it drives the point of love well enough.

Imagine me & you - 2005, Just my luck- 2006, Mrs Doubtfire - 1993, What Dreams May Come (1998)

some of the above may not exactly be called romantic movies, but it depends on how u look at them... :)
