Graphic Cards Recommend a card for 12-15k

Guys,

i am also looking for a graphic card and bit confuse.

12000- 15000 is my max budget.

suggest me the best card.

no matter PCIe or AGP. i will take board depends on that.

what do you think ?

6600 GT extreme / 6800 NU / x800 / x800XT or something.
plz suggest.
 
x800xt and x800 is outta question. 6800NU is 13.5k for leadtek and gainward (AGP 8x). I'd suggest that you go for the leadtek 6600GT or any other of ur liking since the performance diff isnt too much. However if you can spend 2k more u can get the leadtek 6800GT which will wipe the rest of the cards clean ;)
 
The Leadtek 6800 256mb NU is for 14.5k but availability is a issue.Otherwise I think u are best served with a 6600Gt,apollyon has one for sale for 8k!
The Gainward 6800NU 128MB which is more widely available is for 13,400.But unless you can unlock the 12/5 into a 16/6 there won't be much of a peformance diff. between the 6600GT and the NU.
 
what is price of x800xl / xt model.

x800xl is better compare to 6800.
currently i am in tokyo so i can purchase any model.
avaliablity wont be a issue and these cards are not cheap here.

so can you tell me how much x800xl or XT series cost.

what about performance.
i just dont want to spend extra moeny for very few higher fps.
it should be worth for moeny.

Here in India its costing 19K approx.
It should be slightly cheaper in Japan. I know japan is not cheap but see if it costs little less there.

XT was insanely priced at 28k or sumthng, the x800xl from powercolor was 19k ! but this is india. In the US the x800xl is armd 280-290$ pcie and 6800GT is 300$ ish for agp and 350-360$ fpr pcie.

The x800xl is well worth the money.Get it if you dont care about sm 3.0.
 
yup.... get an X800XL if you can find it at less than 19K. And buy a reputed company.....and if you are getting any games bundled, make sure they are ENGLISH versions and not japanese...

there is no BFG X800XL... BFG are strictly nVidia.....u must be bluffing or u got wrong info.:bleh:

BFG is a Nvidia only addon card maker ! So some1 is trying 2 pull a fast one on u or u are trying 2 pull a fast one on us. x800xl is 19k here with 3yr warranty so whats the point of buying it there :S The x800xl and 6800GT are almost similar in performance but 6800GT supports sm 3.0. So at the same price the 6800GT shud b a better deal.
 
i dont know much about BFG.

my big problem here is i cannot read Japanese and english is very difficult for them to understand. you have to speak very slowly to let them understand.

he gave me price for x800xl 6800 GT and i asked him brand / company so he said BFG. he might have told me only about 6800 GT.

anyway it meance i need to go again to Electronic city and confirm the price as well as model / company.

well now i am planning for 6800 GT.
one of my friend told me make 6600 GT in SLI mode. it will be faster then single 6800GT.

what do you think ?
 
Unlikely at higher resolutions and higher levels of AA and AF the single 6800GT would be faster. You can check out some benchies if you want. Get a translator will ya ;)

do you know how much they earn ?

in my company there is team for translator and one of them is my friend.

he earns 1000 $ per shift ( 8 hours ). but you are not allowed to do overtime here. you must take leave on sat and sunday. you need to take permission (if you have to work extra ) from your head. :bleh:

boss jap lang is not so simple.

you can find almost 1000 + charactors and scripts and hell lot of combinations of it. One combination of such charactor has different meaning when it is near to different combination. :S :S

Here they have started for english but it is difficult for them.
i will play most of games at 1280 x 1024 that is max my monitor support.
and instead of AA and AF, i am more intrested in FPS.
so what do you think ?

I was joking mate :| ! Neways like i told you chk out some benchies and satisfy yourself and get the 6800GT or 6600GT's accordingly. Even at that resolutions with aa and af applied the 6800GT will be better.
 
What do you mean, you want FPS but not AA And AF??? Any game will look horrible without AA and AF. At that time, whatever FPS you get will be a waste as you will not ewnjoy the game....

Best thing is to go for a 6800GT or an X800XL. Don't settle for anything less.....

There is difference of just about 2k in the prices for the x800xl. It retails for 19k with 3 yr warranty. x800 seems to be a good deal but is a 12 pipeline card and is quite slower than 6800GT and x800xl. the x800xt seems like the nest deal of the lot.
