Graphic Cards Recommend a card for 12-15k

6600gt is far better than 6600
but 6800nu may not always be too much better

check out article section of xbitlabs in major cards comparison of 24cards or something
X800xl for many games should be abt eual to 6800gt

if you take 6800gt with 1yr warranty and if it gets sploit what will you do
if that is ok then take it

of take 6600gt ,sell it when 7600 or something is relaesed and buy itr

Yup there were some rare 3400+ S939 winchesters. These were basically the 3500+ CPUs that failed to run 1GHz HT and ran at 800 MHz HT link speed. Otherwise they were same as the 3500+ winnies.(same clocks/cache)

So, they shifted your posts so that it is easier for you to find your posts and the corresponding replies....

And I suggest that if you are going for a Venice, go for a 3200+ or a 3000+. you can save some money which you can invest in more RAM or HDD space or someting like that
 
Avi, IMHO just go get the 3700+SD, DFI, OCZ (or Patriot or Geil) and a 6800U (or 7800GTX)...

When I bought my comp, I was in the same state, but I just decided and bought it ! The best are mentioned clearly, and the optional are in brackets...

Though the combo of 3700+ SD, DFI and OCZ will be awesome...

Oh, and BTW Masky is selling his OCZ VX Gold, so that will be a steal too...

Speakers are rather good for the price. In fact in 3K, its easily the best you can get.

AMD 3200+ venice
DFI Lanparty N4 / Asus K8N - i have think on darkey's sugession
1024 x 2 - DDR-400, - KHX3200/1G
2 x 160 GB SATA ( possibly try for SATA II )
Geforce 6800 GT,
XP120,
Sony 16x Dual Layer DVD-RW

Do i need VGA silencer or something ?
i would like to OC the card as well.

what you think ?
Is this the best value for moeny but same time powerful enough config ..
 
Buy an Arctic Cooling NV Silencer 6 for the nvidia 6800GT. It willl help you a lot.

And where are you buying the RAM from?? If you are buying it from abroad, try getting Mushkin which come in 1 GB x 2. They oc very well.....

My vote is still with the DFI mobo....... upto you to decide
 
welll i am not in US.
i am in Tokyo but i can get any DFI board.

in Electronic City here - one big 5 floor shop just for computer parts.
1st floor only for cabinets, fans, water cooling systems.
2nd floor for mobos and CPU only - u can see at least 50+ boards in show case. 90% of them ASUS and DFI.
3rd floor only for graphic cards
4th floor - drives - HDD, CD, DVD, iPOD and stuff like this

5th floor is my love - sound systems............

they sound like hell.
