Graphic Cards Recommend a card for 12-15k

PX6800 GT TDH SLI Premium Pack -35,200 - This is 2*6800GT's which arent not required. If you want to spend that much rather get the PX7800 GTX TDH MyVIVO - 25,600 which will be faster than the 2 * 6800GTs.

Now if two pcie 6800Gts cost 35k a single one shud cost around 17k which is a very good price imho. Get this card and you shud b all set.

hey,
but look at 3d mark 05 score of PX6800 GT TDH SLI Premium Pack at 1024 x 768 setting - 8948

do you think single 7800GTX will outperform ?

as per your sugession - 6800GT i am getting in 17K will be Good then 6800 ultra at 19K would be a good choice ? what you think....

3dmark scores mean zilch ! dont use them as an indicator to purchase cards :P !
Totally overlooked the 6800Ultra. If its 19k its a good choice over the 6800GT. If you can afford the 7800GTX get it, u would have the meanest card at TE then ;) But you need a good processor as well. Even a 3700+ would act as bottleneck.

You will get preety close to what 2x6800GTs can do with 7800GTX.
You get the TSAA feature which is new. and dude it looks amazing with TSAA.
I would take 7800GTX if i were you. Why spend 10K more?
You also have an option to get another 7800GTX in future too.

- But you need a good processor as well. Even a 3700+ would act as bottleneck. :O :O :O :O

boss i am planning for DFI lanparty N4ultra with 3200+.
3700+ is very much expensive.

what you think about Intel PentiumD 840.

D840-3.0 Ghz will be OK ?

same applies to the SLI system.
Forget about the processor for now. Get the best single card available now.
GEt DFi and oc the hell out of your processor.
Stay away from Pentium, be it Pentium D or Prescott.

Do you think AMD 3200+ is much better than D840 Dual Core cpu

i can get advantage of DDR II - 667 MHz as well.

dont you think 955X board with 2 GB Dual channel DDR-II-667MHz and D840 - Dual Core will outperform than AMD 3200+ with DFI N4.

Can i find comparision between Dual core and AMD.

there are 100s of reviews online of dual core Pentiums. Just google it.
And if you are getting 840 then why not get the AMD dual core insted? X2 4200 is priced same as 840. Or you can go for 4000+ for the price of 840
And 840 Extreme edition is $999 chip you will get FX57 for same and X2 4600 for less money.
Both of them will wipe 840.
Prices in japan will be comparable for these CPUs.

X2 is very exp.

see i just called and got this price for dual core but not for X2.

i am getting D820 for just 13,750/-
Opteron 244 Socket940 - 12,580/-
what u think about this proc.

which is good between this ?

is it good compare to 3200+

You just cannot compare Opteron to 3200+
Opteron is a server processy. And S940 mobos will be hard to find here now days.
And I can tell ya all over the world X2 4200 is prices similar to 840.
Ok forget about X2. You can get 4000+ for the price of 840.
3200+ will be lot cheaper than 840.

If you intend to buy gaming CPU then AMD is the best for now.
You are gona confuse yourself thinking of all these options.
Simply go out and buy single core 3200+ or 4000+ or Dual core X2 4000+. Any one of these that will fit into your budget.
Dual core will not help in gaming for now. Future games may support dualcore but now for now.

:ashamed: :ashamed: :ashamed: :ashamed:

i am getting more and more confused ?

just want to take benifit of avaliability of many things here.

but at the same time dont want to spend much.

i want to have powerful system. no doubt but i just dont want to spend like crazy. i want to have value for meony config but it should be latest.
Darky -

please help me and suggest me one final config.

i just dont want to spend more time on this.

If you are buying CPU too from abroad then get.
AMD 3700+ , DFI NF4 U , 6800GT/7800GTX( if you have budget for 7800GTX then go for it).
If this is going out of budget then go for 3200+
This will be farely good system for you. A huge improvement over what you have now.

And ya get some RAM too from there.

Ok here is what you cna go for,if i was you,

AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego Core
Asus A8N-E [From India]
Geforce 6800GT PCI Express
PDP Patriot XBLK Series 1GB RAM.

I specifically said Asus A8N-E because since you have mentioned that you will be overclocking, there are chances that your board might go kaput while doing so.
So it is better to get board locally so you get warranty for it or atleast try to get it repaired from teh service centre for extra charge.

If you dont want to bother about this, go get yourself a DFI NF4 Ultra-D / SLI-DR

Its upto you.

But believe me DFI board is not as rock stable as Asus boards are.Keep that in mind.
THey are Specifically designed for extreme overclocking.

I guess that shud help you out a bit. ;)

hmnnmnmnm....

i just dont want simple overclock but record overclock.

i will get best proc + best mobo + best RAM ( off course in my budget )

but at the same time i want stability.

i cannot afford to spend 15+ K on board and one fine day just see its Dead.

i will do one thing.

i will go for DFI one and 3400+ venice core or San Diego lets see....
6800GT or Ultra

and we will do overclocking together.
we will take it to maxxxxxxxxx but still safe.

thx for reply guys.

Hmm pretty ambitious....

i just dont want simple overclock but record overclock

but at the same time i want stability.
Hmm tell me if you get to find a combo which satisfies both....i am searching a lot for it.

I dont think theres a 3400 Venice.

we will take it to maxxxxxxxxx but still safe.
Would love to see you do that.
