Anybody played this on PC? I can't make up my mind, the price is tempting, but the review says Multiplayer sucks

Completed the game a few minutes back. This was definitely more fun the Guerrilla. The game took a linear path and the Dead Space approach for it's enemies. Heck, even the path highlighting seems to be lifted off Dead Space. I loved the variety of weapons and upgrade options in this game. My 2 favourite weapons were Charge Launcher & Singularity Cannon. I used these 2 weapons extensively in the last few hours. The parts which included us taking control of the L.E.O.(Military Exo-suit), Walker & the Flyer were way too much fun and carnage created was doubled. This game was fast and didn't break it's pace. There were moments when we have enemies overload and it's really get's a bit tiring to rip them apart, but you won't be bored, THAT I can guarantee. Physics were awesome, as always, HAVOK has always been an epitome of rendering brilliant physics in games. BTW you can use Nano Forge, a tool, which allows you to re-build what you have destroyed. Voice acting and the cinematic cut-scenes were really well done. Definitely worth a shot.

Yes. I didn't want to risk any slow-downs and other awkward issues on the PC. So until I get my GTX560Ti, I'll have to settle down in the console domain. :)

The game isn't too long. It's roughly 7-8 hours on Normal mode.

^ So do you actually recommend this game ? Is it worth to play or it should be played only when nothing else is there ?

I liked Dead Space 2, even if it was claustrophobic. But it had that element, those scares, and those surprising but awesome gameplay elements such as flying in zero-g and such.

Is Red Faction's Geo-Mod enough to play this game?

Ethan, waiting for your reply.

I would definitely recommend this game. It's a good action/survival horror title. When you want to play it, is up to you. It's not necessary to pick it up ASAP. Like I said, it's hardly 7 hours in length, so it should probably take over a day or two to complete it.

Apologies, but I didn't quite understand your question. Could you re-phrase it?

Play the game. It has gone against any Red Faction game you have played before.
I'll play this after i complete Armageddon, am around 60% through that. And 7 hours usually means 7 days for me (not inc breaks between days) :P

Soon I hope. But once I get the card, the urge for a system over-haul will loom over me. Any-hoo, really keen on getting back to the nVidia camp. :D

Btw Allwyn did you see Red Faction: Origins? Seems like it was released sometime back.

It may be a while before I get my new net connection in place. Will have to make do until then. :'(

Gannu, check the videos of the game. You don't just fight soldiers anymore! Creatures and stuff in this - I hate :@

Need to watch Origins though

Did you not try the BSNL iPad plan? :P

^Yeah Allwyn probably meant the same too. But nothing like beating up hordes of monsters and piling up the rumble. :P

^Since when did this title belong to the survival horror genre now? :annoyed:
After reading reviews and user comments, that was what I could interpret.

Closed tunnels, creatures jumping from walls onto you, dark dark dark, claustrophobic.

Reminds you of something? (Hint: Dead Space)
