refrigerator help.

guys... is there any way to shut down freezer section of refrigerator.
now for almost 6 months we wont need it... is there any way to shut it down completely.... go green
i know freezer max and refrigerate max mode.... but other than that....

switch the fridge off? i mean after disposing off all the things in which will perish in 6 months.

btw, did you mean max or min?

eidt: just saw the settings of my fridge. keep the freezer settings on minimum .i.e.1 setting. it cant be switched off completely. that way less cold air will go to freezer compartment and more towards the main compartment.

I don't think we can completely turn it off. You can keep it on minimum.
