Have stopped seeding back or DL'ing anything from Demonoid. So technically my account is dormant. They show me as having done 130DL : 43UL. No ways, have I DL'ed 130GB from those trackers. Also I realize, even when I am not DL'ing, my DL bits would continue to increase (even when pure seeding). Their tracking system seems to be messed up.

it is messed up for people on dynamic IPs

i DLed no more than 50 GB and Upped 80GB

but it shows DLed 93GB and upped 50GB

Demonoid's tracking indeed is wonky,

Reason being, they only track u if your ip matches. So in effect, if after downloading a torrent.. u reset ur ip and then start downloading the content.. u wont be billed.

But i think at the same time IF u are downloading ANY of the torrent tracked by demonoid and visit the site, u gonna get docked. This ll include torrents downloaded from sites like tpb etc. Just the torrent needs to be from demonoid fraternity and you just have to show your face on their site and you ll have the system tracking your DLs.

That has happened with me.

1. I got one IPT (which I told above before)

2. Just saw, that I have on Torrentday invite. This is one of the best generic trackers out there. Damn easy to maintain a ratio due to their excellent bonus point system.

Anyone have an invite for a good HD tracker. I can provide ratio proofs of TD/IPT/DT/FLRO, plus line speed throughput.

I dont have a account of any private torrent , line speed is 2-3 mbps till 8gb and after that 512kbps (bsnl) , my pc remains on the whole day , so i dont mind seeding most of the time. Cant get any better than this cause i stay in Goa.

Guys, with respect to the above. Is an 8GB FUP'ed plan enough...? To maintain ratios. I really do not think so. He will not be able to DL enough and then give back enough, since the FUP will kick in quite fast. And seeding back on 512 kbps will be quite useless too. What you guys think. IPT needs a lot of files to seed back comfortably and maintain ratios, with a full open non-FUP plan.

I have a 512kbps line and i maintain my ratios.

Thing is i downloaded only the ratio free first and seeded em like no tomorrow. So yes, if one wants to maintain a ratio and seeds the ratio free for good amount of time, he ll be able to do it.
