^Have you tried Meghana foods near Jyoti Nivas college in Koramangala? This is just 2 mins from the Hyderabad House you mentioned. Just try the Boneless Chicken Biryani there. Its by far my favorite biryani in all of Bangalore. :)

Other favorites of mine:
3/4 Chinese in Church street. Love the buffet here. Especially on special occasions like Christmas etc. Too bad the buffet is only on weekdays.
Coastal Express near Shivananda Circle. Awesome place for fish and other seafood. I love having the prawns and squids here.
Chandini Chowk near Sony World, Koramangala. Awesome Tandoori chicken. :p

Actually, lots of other places. Too many to mention here :)

I was thinking of a similar thread.

Just been in b'lore for 4-5 months.

1. Currymean, BDA Complex ,Indiranagar.

Awesome food and pricing is good.

2. Golconda Chimney ,Kundanahali Gate.

By far the best food in b'lore. Pricing a bit on high side. Will visit again for sure :)

3.A Restaurant in RS Hotel(Saaga), Hebbal Outer Ring Road.(People in Manyata can try this)

Good food and nice ambiance :)

Best Masala Dosa is in CTR Malleshwaram

I am going to Delhi in the last week of Dec. Any good places there. Already been to Karims on my last visit. Any place where we can get some nice chaats, kebabs

^^ Try the following outlets:

Khan Chacha, Big Chill - Khan Market

American Diner - IHC Lodhi Road

Al Bake, Pebble Street - NFC (New friends Colony)

Chat - Old Delhi (Though I found those not so good :p)

Via Milano - Quattro Cheese Pizza
The Ping and its dessert bay
Beijing Bites - Thai combos
Soo Ra Sang - Korean! Kimchi!
WoodStock Cafe - Bread Bowl Soup

Kubay - Mixed platter with pulimunchi
Coast2Coast - anything Ghee Roast
Gud Dhani - Cheap yet tasty North Indian food

Well, my recommendations may not suit your taste buds but the places are worth visiting for anyone with varied gastronomic desires.

For those of us Mumbaikars staying near Ghatkopar, some of the places for moderately priced Chinese :

1. My Kobo ~ Vikrant Circle, Ghatkopar East. Good food.

2. Stall on the road ( no idea on the name, thats why) ~ Road opposite Pooja Hotel, MG Road, Ghatkopar East.
