^Pripyat is the treasure chest of artifacts. Search for em and as you know selling then in the Skadosk ship will give ya big MONEY!

^I am already done at Skadovsk or Yanov. I am at Pripyat ATM. I don't think there's any going back now. Or is it?

'You just enjoy the story. Going back and doin' side missions are for nerds like me.:ohyeah:
The story won't end yet. You'll be surprised when you meet an infamous character from Stalker 1's first mission "KILL ***********". Have fun.

Why is Strelok infamous? He is actually the one,who emerges as a hero among all.

I'll never know that because i never completed Stalker 1 and in the stage where I was he was still infamous.

LOL.This explanation has nothing to do with COP so you can safely read it. :P It explains the storyline of the first game,as far as I understand.

*SPOILER*The loner you play the role of,in Shadow of Chernobyl is actually Strelok himself. His mind was brainwashed by the C-Consciousness when his team visited the Sarcophagus and he was mistakenly given the task of killing himself since the C-Consciousness didn't know his true identity.He was then transported to the Zone in the truck where the first game starts. When you play the game further,you will meet the 'Doctor' who visited the center of the Zone with Strelok. That's when you realize that you yourself are Strelok. *SPOILER*

Ok, I fired up the game yesterday.... Quite better than SOC. Ok, tell me one thing. When you are going towards the 3rd and 4th stingrays, how do you cross hte building where there are bandits and theyu ask you to stay out? I dont wanna fight em, as I am tryin to play the game Splinter cell style.. And all thats because combat really sucks for me.

Play side missions dude. They will unlock some really slick weapons and gadgets that will help you to survive and learn how o survive. And also they are good sources of cash with which you can upgrade your armor and weapons.

Just done with today's session. :D

So finally, I got hold of the Gauss rifle from those Monolith mercs just as I thought I would and then did not know where to get the operating manual from. I was roaming from place to place in Pripyat and did loads of stuff ulta-pulta and then managed to figure out that the fellow in Skadovsk can do the analysis. And then I had already acquired 1L RU and that unlocked another achievement. :D

Went back to Pripyat, sniped an informer from the top floor of a building and got down a building through the emergency escape of an elevator to the X18 labs and had a very hard time finding the additional manuals for the weapon. Those mutant dwarfs draped in the black gown gave me a hard time - 3 in a room. Somehow got the manuals and escaped.

Will resume the mission tomorrow. Aw man this game is so much fun! I wish they have some more sequels in the pipeline. :D
