Anti Rads. Or attach an artifact that has a -ve Radiation property to your suit and wait for radiation effects to disappear.

If you complete it free medpacks and anti rands and other survival stuff will be delivered to your personal locker in the Skadosk two three times every week.

Btw I got the prototype anomaly detector from Beard after so much drama between Owl, Beard and Sultan. And Sultan has changed from the friend to a neutral stance now because I gave an artifact to beard.

And another interesting story unfolds when Flint at Yanov is actually found to be Magpie. He denied an artifact to a dying stalker and claims that he did all good which is essentially BS. Got the detective achievement for this.hyeah:

Btw I got the prototype anomaly detector from Beard after so much drama between Owl, Beard and Sultan. And Sultan has changed from the friend to a neutral stance now because I gave an artifact to beard.

I had that Find Magpie from the start but never finished it until i reached near the quarry in Yanov at night searching for artifacts. And that anti-rad artifact spawn randomly. If you are still in Skadosk open the map and go artifact hunting at different anomoly zones. Good Luck.

^Dude what's the name of that mutant dwarf wearing a black gown - they instantly reduce our stamina to nil, reduces the health as well and snatches the weapon to the ground. I can't figure out a way to hunt this thing down. Fugg, this thing gave me the creeps yesterday night while sleeping.

Talk to the Scientists and do some errands for them.Later they will ask you to place Artifacts Detector in the Anomaly zones in order to collect readings. Once you have completed these tasks,the detectors will show all the artifacts that are being spawned in the anomalies,on your map display.
Who else besides me found the Heart of Oasis?

As kauzy said they are Burers. They have lot of hp so just keep shooing them they'll eventually die. If you run out of bullets do one thing. Just came home. Had a neck sprain since I was playing till 1 yesterday.
Wanted a break badly.
Genius, we know how to find artifacts. I have even got the prototype detector and found those mercs stuck inside some anomaly. But where do we start looking for the oasis? Inside some tunnel or something? Because every frikking NPC says BS when asked the whereabouts of the oasis. :|

Yeah I know.:bleh:I was just pointing out to everyone that instead of searching for a particular artifacts by visiting every anomaly field,it's better to help the scientists first so they give you the Anomaly Fields quest and subsequently the Prototype Detector. Later on you can go artifact hunting by just checking the map and seeing what artifact has spawned in a particular field and go looking for it. I slept for 5 days continuously and kept collecting the artifacts that spawned all over the map.:rofl:
And I have noticed that once you cross a certain limit of money(1lakh RU?),Beard starts selling artifacts to you too.
The Heart of Oasis can be found in Ventilation Complex.
I stumbled across the place while hiding my a$$ from 5 bloodsuckers that were chasing me all over the map. The Gauss gun is good for taking out Burers at range.

Finally! Completed the game just now.
Got my Gauss rifle repaired from the guy at Skadovsk and bought some home-made cells for it. Pretty darn expensive at 2k a piece but had ample cash so bought loads of it and had a pistol upgraded - that's it.
Nice ending video. In fact the game could have used pre-rendered footages all the time instead of relying on those in-game cutscenes. Those cutscened lend a cheap look to an awesome game IMO. The music is awesome. If only there was some sort of buggy in the game I could drive around, could have avoided those long strolls. :|
Anyways, this is without doubt the best S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game ever released. Waiting for future releases from GSC.
Next up - install the SSD and Split Second: Velocity.

well its your mind, you decide what you like. Stalker is a it complicated game. You need patience and some tactical skills to play it. so why not change the difficulty and see if it improves your games.

I haven't played the second stalker and have half completed the first one. Don't worry. Just play the third one if you want. The third one is really improved and many "Stalker" frustrations have been removed. It will take a little mpre time but its worth it because the story is awesome and unique.
