40K+ S25 ultra dubai vs india version

My friend is coming from Dubai and I was thinking about buying s24 ultra, in Dubai it is around 70k INR there but here in India it costs 1 lakh. What will I miss out by buying middle East version, I heard warranty will not be applicable here other than that what will be issues.

Usually the shopkeepers in Bur Dubai area (which is where I am guessing you are planning to buy from) can help whether certain model with work in India without any issues or not. But I had read somewhere about samsung phones that first one needs to activate it in UAE before it can be used outside. I may be wrong though, so please do check.

I will tell my friend to ask around if it needs to be activated, I read samsung pay will not work as uae version don't have upi will that feature is useful or can I get that feature

This is on s24 ultra.

Call recording & india specific features were missing in samsung pay but you can flash stock indian rom and then do csc change with samfw and everything works including dual sim and esims.
Make sure to get TDRA approved version.

Why don't you just create a guide here detailing the steps you did.

Then what issues you faced and how you recovered.

That's a major ommission and reason I brought it up. There should be clear instructions about how to get that feature back and whether this process has to be repeated every time there is an update from Samsung. What would happen in that case?

It's all well and good to get it cheap from Dubai so long as people are fully aware exactly what they are getting into

That's a major ommission and reason I brought it up. There should be clear instructions about how to get that feature back and whether this process has to be repeated every time there is an update from Samsung. What would happen in that case?

It's all well and good to get it cheap from Dubai so long as people are fully aware exactly what they are getting into
