created this thread since i believe many people now want the Samsung Focus since the New one is available for about 12.3k , if we make a Group order or probably negotiate with 20north or iccworld we could get better prices ,

Believe it or not, the most expensive one was used for a day. GENUINE.

The other two were OLD new in box. Unused. One of the cheaper ones was unlocked as well.

So for the other two, I bought those $0.99 codes and within 2 hours they were also unlocked.

You just need to keep an eye out for great deals.

And remember, Indian ebay is SHIT for auctions, but most stuff that is available for knockout prices is available only in auctions on ebay usa and uk
 
i was not talking about getting a one day used phone off ebay , you can change the body and sell it as one day used , and believe me i have seen people doing like this , i am talking about the new ones , with about 5 people interested , i will post the link in 5 mins

I just bought a Focus from a member of this Forum Agantuk. He offered it to me for 12250, but instead, I went through the eBay route and paid him 13k (750 ebay fees) for it because I wanted the SkullCandy headset worth 1.8k which is currently ebay's Dussera offer... It was in stock, so I might receive it tomorrow...

Have you updated your Focus to Mango update (WP 7.5)?

My phone was not factory unlocked, but an unlocking code was used from ebay.com to unlock it... I am not sure if I can upgrade to Mango update... Would it lock the phone to AT&T again? I am worried about it. Any info would be appreciated...

I updated all the phones to 7.5. Using the one I unlocked myself. No issues with updating.

I think there are two ways to unlock. One is the CHEVRON one, which is not recommended and the other is the CODE unlock, which is the BAAP of all unlocks and stays even if you upgrade firmwares. The code makes it equivalent to factory unlocked.

And no, none of the phones I bought had any hanky panky. All were in supreme condition and top class as the sellers mentioned. I never buy from anyone who has less than 100 seller ratings. My thumb rule to getting good cheap reliable stuff off ebay. never gone wrong, YET (!)

Friends I have come to a conclusion that buying from EBAY @ 216 $ + 10$ ( SNS shipping) , if you get lucky you get it tax free import else , buying it from ebay(in) @ 12350 + skull candy headphones is the best deal ,

I purchased one from TE member through ebay. Quoted price 13k + Coupon (Skullcandy Lowrider 1.8k) = Actual phone for 11.2k. This was better deal for me as I wanted the phone urgently.

Excellent choice. Agantuk ships very quickly. I got the phone too and just love it... Excellent phone...
