Just called the samsung showroom here in Pune.
They said that the phone is gonna launch on the 3rd of June.

yeah, bad news here as well, my dealer as well as couple of other sources pushed the launch date to first week of next month.. now I'm getting worried if its gonna be the crappy SLCD with NFC.. i don't want NFC, but the SAMOLED+ is an absolute must!

Yeah, me too. S AMOLED+ screen is the key component in this phone but GT-T9103 (Tegra2 + SLCD) is the one we're probably going to get here at that price :(

Well i hope both variants come to india, if slcd with tegra 2 is cheaper i dont mind buying it, slcd also is a great display :)

Samsung is really starting to !$#!$@#$@#$@3 :mad: me off and if it gets the SLCD version i m never gonna buy any samsung device like forever for not keeping there promise of getting a SAMOLED+ version of the SGS2 here. :mad:

Lack of information regarding the launch and the price is driving me mad.. I have to get a new phone soon.. Seriously contemplating about getting the O2X..

Checked at another Samsung Store about the release of SGS2.. The guy there said its releasing this month end with a price tag of 30-35k.. Speculations continue.. I'm tired of waiting and getting the O2X, but can't find it in any retail stores here.. Any idea where to get it in Bangalore?
