Here it is,


Well i purchased it locally.Each stick cost me around 4800 bucks.THis clearly indicates that Transcend IS using Brainpower PCB and Samsung UCCC Chips.

So if one is lucky enough, UCCC with brainpower PCB,combination used by most high end RAM makers i think can be purchased locally here with warranty.

Well but the important thing is that it has Brainpower PCB.Transcend never used to use BP PCB,they always had and have their own PCB for lower capacity modules.

Memory makers like OCZ,Gskill,Geil,Corsair mostly use UCCC+BP combo in their kits.
Only difference being,they have flashy heat spreaders and their expensive kits might be having binned UCCC chips.
Thats what i think,correct me if i am wrong. ;)
 
hey darky, when u upload to imageshack, pls dont use the "resize to... " option.. i cant read anything from that Sandra benchmark pic :D

BTW even my 2x1GB sticks i have use the brainpower PCB.

Its not UCCC though.

Well i sure am gonna OC it but i will first get used to the entire setup.Dual Core is new to me.
Also earlier i ran into some problems regarding temps.
having partly sorted that out, i am getting hold of this board,its different from normal NF4 boards.But i will manage.

So these are the reasons i havent OC'ed yet and oh yeah,dont get loads of time as before...:ashamed:
 
There were rumours floating around that "someone" tocuhed 2.8ghz on his Opty Dual Core:P

And nice purchase Darky!!!

I got Samsung UCCC 512 x 2 for 4.8K. No cash to go for 2 x 1 GB. And the dealer did not have 1GB stock anyway.

What do you think?? 4.8K for 512 x 2 OK?? It is just a little bit above the price of standard Value RAM. So, I guess it is quite decent :P
 
^^the Q wasnt directed at me, but i still thot i wud respond. last i checked, UCCC 512 sticks were selling in Mysore for 2050 all inclusive.. Blr prices are usually marginally lower.. 350 bucks (17%) more per stick is a rip off.. i think..
