hey guys, i confirmed today that BLACK color is available now.

the stock arrived on Thursday at a shop near my house, he said that both colors are available and the cost is 18.5k.

i think i will buy it in a day or two.

@Surfer - I got my Wave for 17.5k on 7th july. Just inquire in few other shops, 18.5k is a bit steep. Some people are even claiming 16.8- 17k price for Wave.

ya but i got it for 18.1 but it is including insurance of 1 year,,,so i also brought it for around 17.5...

From whice place ur buying?

yep, i just asked, didn't show any interest in buying at that time... will do bargain before i buy 1... BTW what color do you have?

iam buying it from gurgaon, not buying actually just asked the price... will go to DELHI for price check before i buy...

I have the S8500DDJe7 since the past month i bought. But when i tried to update though kies, it says there is no update available. Any guys found any method to download DDJF1 or later????

@soumalidon -Nope , as I did not have free time to visit SVC. Will visit tommorrow and see.. That guy who is a regional manager of Samsung in our area, has told me to call him before visiting SVC so that he could inform those people well in advance. Will let you know tommorrow if those multitasking issues get sorted out or not.

i follow them already, also i am a user in their forum for the past one month. But there is no luck fiinding any Indian firmware there yet

DDJF2 is actually available... i am going to a SVC near my place to get it updated. I also have EJ7 and it does have a few bugs......

Hey soumalion do ask the service centre guys can we do the firmware from home itself via KIES and how much safe it is?

getting a quote of 18k.and the seller had 5 and all of it in black.

btw,why dont the proud owners click a snap or two or their WAVE and display it here.

this thread is so lively but misses the spice of a pic or two.

My friend was inquiring about this phone for me in Delhi, you get it for 15800/- there... He will be buying one for me next week when he is coming to Chennai ...I am not getting that price in Chennai..

Hey everyone,

run your java apps in native resolution of Wave, copy these settings in the manifest file of the jar.

MIDlet-Scaleup-Support: False

LGE-MIDlet-Width: 480

LGE-MIDlet-Height: 800

MIDlet-Touch-Support: True

You can use 7zip to modify the manifest file

1. Right click on the jar file and select 7zip -> "open archive"

2. Open "Meta-Inf" folder.

3. Right click and select edit for the manifest file, add the lines copied above, save.

4. Click "Ok" on the update archive message.

5. Copy the jar to your phone/memory card in usb mass storage mode.

6. Install and enjoy :)

god i swear im loosing my patience. They were still NOT able to download the file!! keep saying that it hangs in between and none of the other SVCs have downloaded it either including the head office!!! I asked if i can download the file myself and they said their comps ip address was locked in the server and will not allow to downlaod from anywhere else!! freakin frustrating!!!!!! they started the download in the morning when i went there.. time remaining was like ~2hrs. Hopefully it downloaded this time. Will have to go and check tomorrow. Will also be getting a 16GB card tomorrow :)

let me know which one are you going for and where are you buying it from for how much? I too need extra storage :p

I notice you are from bangalore, have you been going to the BTM service center?
