ohh, watever, yea m talking about that only, it copies your regular SIM IMSI no into memory, and whenever any other sim ( with ofcourse different IMSI ) will send you the mobile no. to your regular SIM :)

i'm really looking forward to buying the wave...my dealer is offering it to me at 18k...which i think is wayy costly..

plzz tell me where did u guyz get it from...price and shop....in delhi..?

i can do wid sumthing like 16k..

Guys i have a problem here ....

I have connected by internet to my lappy and the WIFI on the lappy is on,,,i get connected to the WIFI network of the lappy but when i launch the browser it starts and tells me DNS failed,,,,any one knows whats the solution for this as im not able to run internet on my wave using the WIFI...

I tried connectify on my friends lappy running windows 7 and the WIFI was working fine as i have the lappy with XP i m not able to use connectify software as it needs windows 7,,,

I cant install windows 7 on my lappy as the lappy is pretty old and has only 256 MB of ram

So guys please suggest me what to do,,,,y i m getting this DNS error,,,,should i change the settings or anything,.,,,

Well sujith, i am not sure what exactly do you mean when u say "connected to the wifi of the lappy". Are you creating a adhoc network_?_? Do u have a wifi router_?

Well guys have been following a this thread for quite sometime now. Also would like to point out that samsung singapore has a promotion going on where in you get a SGD$15 coupon if you register with them. %But the system asks for a CC info even if u are not charged for anything. May b someone with a CC can download the app required using the free coupon and share them with us mortals without a CC_? A lot of paid apps will become available

means i am connected to the lappy through wifi ( Ya it is a adhoc network ),,,i can see the my WIFI network in my wave ,,then i choose it ,,it says connected....and my WIFI is on...

See i and my room mates have 4 laptops and we share internet through WIFI on all the lappies ( any one of the lappy connects to the lan cable from my modem ( sorry i dont have a wireless router ) and on that particular lappy WIFI is turned and the other lappies connect to this WIFI network and the internet is shared on all the four lappies,,,,

So in the same way i want to share it on my wave too,,,,I can see the WIFI symbol in the notification bar of the wave but when i launch the browser it tells me DNS failed,,,,:(

I am not sure about Win 7 but in Xp you need to enable Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) on the connection. Since you are having problems with DNS, u might have to enable the dns service in ICS

Guys i tries again but now the DNS failed error has gone but internet is stil not working on the via the WIFi,,,

If any one has a lappy and net can they please check it out and suggest me what to do?

no those dam idiots were not able to download the firmware apparently!! damn it!! how hard is it to download a 350mb file!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they asked in the other SVCs too and none of them had downloaded it!!! if they dont do it by monday then i will ask if i can download it and give it to em, but i doubt they will give me the access to their server etc.. hmmmm :( how frustrating

ya the SVC guy said its like 350MB and it takes long to download coz it has to keep checking the certificates or something...... no idea about the internet prob u have. I have a normal router and it works fine.

Well lets keep our fingers crossed....the file size should be directly proportional to the improvements in the wave...he he:) :)

but i have one doubt cant u do the update at home only...i think u can download the update from the Samsung site itself,,,not sure though
