Iam going to destroy samsung somehow at some point of my life if they dont provide bada 2.0 for wave.
 
hey ppl i am facing something annoying, when i call a divert active flashes on my phone for few seconds... and call connects!

i went in settings and deactivated all divert calls. Anybody facing the same problem? Or knows to get rid of this issue?
 
^ Dont worry about it. It happens on all the phones. Some phones hide them, some show it. It has nothing to do with the phone. It depends on the operator.It just means that people who call you when you are already on a call will be diverted to your voicemail or will be made to be on hold till the call ends. Before this used to be optional. Now this is standard with all the operators. When this system was not in place we used to get an engage tone. It is due to this system, we are getting things like"The user your are trying to reach is currently on another call, please hold on or try again" and "If you want to leave a voice message press..." etc.

yeah i read the same thing with samsung jet and other nokia users too and definetely with vodafone! i am with loop mobile in mumbai though, the function isnt the problem but really this divert active shouldnt come up everytime.... if it is then it shouldnt keep remeinding again and again right? it hasnt even been one month yet and since past few days this started coming up! so i was wondering why it didnt come up in the first 20 days or so and why now! btw it doesnt happen with idea and airtel it seems, my frnds on P1i and nokia 6230 dont seem to have this annoying pop up... could have been better if we could have removed it with activating some option!

any recent videos in english of bada 2.0? the beta that i saw isnt good at all! the different hubs to me didnt make much sense, i wouldnt really go for bada 2.0 with it not even looking better than 1.2!

bada 1.2 is faster than 1.0, my s8530 loads games faster, never need to go in cpuart! dont know what kind of useful update bada 2.0 will be! the nfc wont be of any use to me at all! so really they need to do better!
 
bada 2.0 will be available for wave S8500 as reported by samsung.

bada 1.2 will be available officially for indian users in the coming month.
 
^source..? The only sources I know of for the bada 2.0 news is samfirmware.com but they are just speculating, it is not official and justin hong but he only said they are considering it. Did you get this info from anywhere else?

And for bada 1.2, when samsung customer support was called they just said it would be released soon but they didnt have any dates. But they are saying the same thing since the first week of January.
 
^Dude I think you didnt read my previous post fully. I have been posting updates from Hong's twitter stream since a long time here. Justin Hong only said that they are 'considering' bada 2.0 for wave. Considering and official announcement are two very different things.They can consider whatever they want but can drop those ideas at the end.

Weird error: Trying to install some apps through Kies and its telling me maximum number of installed applications reached, uninstall some unwanted applications. Has any got this error ever?
 
^ that means that you have filled 10 pages with applications. 10 pages is the max no of pages in bada presently. You need to delete some application to install a new one.
 
^ no hard official news about bada 2.0 on wave 1 but it is very much possible that we would get it seeing the speculation from justin hong and some insider news from samfirmware. And as for the 1.2 update, calls to customer care say, it is under testing and would be released soon. But i dont know how soon.
 
Its been more then a month that i have been looking for a new s8500 but none of the shops seems to have it . If anyone knows any shops in mumbai then please do let me know . Also i am open for a secondhand deal provided the price is reasonable .
