PC Peripherals Samtron 15" CRT- Menu screen at Center issue? Help Pls.

Hello,

My 15" Samtron CRT (5-6 yrs old) showing Control Lock/Unlock/Menu contentiously from last 15 days, earlier menu went out after 15-30 minutes, but now it just stick in center & keep blinks in 5-10 seconds.

What options I have other than to call local Tech guy or Samsung tech person.

well its the issue with the heat. When the CRT's main controller board is about to fail, it shows some symptoms. Try cleaning the monitor by removing its cover. This might help in rectifying the problem
 
if you are a diy'er then there is a 5v regulator near the main microcontroller giving 5volts to the main ic controller change it to any 7805 regulator.

if not then take it to any monitor repair shop they will do it for you for aprox 200INR+
