^^ The other thread was originally for this only. But later the Clip Plus was found to be good with FLAC support and micro SD card slot. So this go was started.

This thread is for the refurbished normal clip for under 20$ but in that same thread mention of Clip Plus came in and seeing the interest, this thread was born :)
 
This tiny player even plays FLACs! Not that an mp3 player really warrants it but still a nifty feature not to be found on small'ish mp3 players in the mkt. ^_^

ya it does but there are other players as well samsung u5 and others too.

*UPDATING THIS TO THE FIRST POST AS WELL *

Dunno but something seems to be wrong with Amazon .The 4GB clip plus is now cheaper than the 2GB clip plus :S.

Good for us .We all can go for the 4GB Clip+ now :D. Will try to get the best quote for the 4GB now ..

Incase anyone's not interested in 4GB and wants to backout , do let me know . KMD's current quote is ~Rs. 2590 for the 4GB one.Hopefully it should come down since we are approaching more than 20+ orders. Keep your fingers crossed :P

The 2GB player will be Rs. 2,000 if there are more than 20 orders. the 2GB player is actually available for cheaper through ANTonline on Amazon. So their shipping charges reduce as the qty. increases. But the 4GB player is cheapest directly from Amazon which doesn't have any local shipping charge in the US. so their price remains the same irrespective of the Qty.

Ohk so as of now if we get 20+ orders. (which i guess we will ) the prices are.

Sansa Clip plus 2GB - Rs .2000 shipped.

Sansa Clip Plus 4GB -Rs. 2420 shipped.

Deciding between the two is pretty confusing ,I am myself not able to make up my mind but I think I would prefer getting the 2GB for 2k and spending another 800-900 bucks on a 8GB card then getting the 4GB for 2.4k.

I feel we should have a vote here, and lets go with the majority .I am game for anything ..though I prefer the 2GB as it's cheaper.

But again if we actually calculate Price /GB . the 4GB one is the winner with 600 per GB and 2GB one with 1000 bucks per GB.

:rofl: This is confusing .. Let's have a vote out. :D.
 
I personally feel that at the revised Rs. 2K price point, Clip+ 2GB seems better bang for the buck. That said, I'm game for whatever the majority agrees on and is finally ordered.

I think 2GB option would be better, considering its expandable, and folks who want +2gb can put a 2gb microSD for 300 - comes to less than price of 4GB
 
^^ Hmmm.Makes sense. Even I am going with 2GB then .I request all the other members to confirm as well if they are ok with 2GB for 2000Rs. shipped. :)

The one's who are looking for higher capacity can always add a 2/4/8/16 GB card later on .
