It's pity we wont see here play more tennis as she is past it now.

Yet another engagement, wonder how long this one will last :)

I don't think anything will be said unless there is a proper marriage.

That would piss off a lot of women wouldn't it. Cant tell the independent types who to breed with :)

Nothing those ppl can say about this that will not be construed as putting women down.

After all if a high profile person like Sania cannot choose then no women in India can either.

If they want thousands of women to picket their offices then this would be the move to make. We'd never hear the end of it for a good cpl of months :D

He's probably worried that the day he lifts the burqa he'll find a mono-browed shemale staring back and smiling at him with horse teeth, thats why he wants Sania, everyone knows what she looks like :D

But again, its a routine occurence, packee girls come here (Meera??), Indian ones go there. And again, its Sania Mirza man, she was at her peak a sub-standard tennis player who only got into the limelight cause she was a woman. Come 2010 she's ranked like 90 in Tennis. Shoaib Malik on the other hand is an ex-captain of one of the worst pakistani cricket teams seen in recent times. It's a marriage of two semi-failed individuals.

As long as they're not first cousins or something (quiet possible since Malik seems to have relatives in Hyderabad..lol), I don't see why there should be a controversy here.

considering this, sania would have to move to pakistan? and then play as a citizen of PAK to bring glory (more so shame) when she wins (come on we all know she loses all the time) to PAKISTAN!?!

who cares! marry shoaib malik , shoaib akhtar marry anyone you want. you won't be missed because some other female tennis player who would actually perform where it matters--the court would take your place. its just that there aren't many good females playing tennis here that she gets the limelight. half the time sania doesn't play due some injury somewhere.

i don't give a fly rat's arse! and the media has nothing to do other than add masala and chatni and achar to such sordid personal affairs---times now will have arnab harking about sania's loyalites to the nation and the game and what not tomorrow.(if he;s not already done it today--haven't seen the news today)
 
In the end, I don't think it should matter to us ?

- Her life : Her choice to marry

- Her career : Her choice to represent the country.

Whats that go to do with getting pissed off..?

I mean cmon would anyone bother if this were a normal citizen of India marrying someone from pakistan ?
