Hi friends,

I have got SBI net-banking activated on my account. Yesterday i added an account as beneficiary., and today it got verified, but when i try to send a NEFT, it gives an error saying that - bills cannot be scheduled for 5 days from the date of adding a beneficiary

Anyone got any idea related to this ??
 
Tried the second time, and got the same message.Have taken a screenshot,can't upload it untill evening
 
Can I transfer funds to beneficiary up to the daily limit of Internet Banking immediately upon activation?

During the first 5 days after activation, you may not transfer more than Rs. 50,000 in the aggregate to the beneficiary added by you. Thereafter, the full per day limit, as set by you, subject to maximum of Rs. 5 lakh, will become available.

Example: If you have added a beneficiary on Monday, it will get activated on Tuesday and till Saturday, you will be able to transfer a total amount of Rs. 50,000 to this beneficiary. From Sunday onwards, you will be able to transfer up to Rs. 5 lakh to this beneficiary per day.

@Gaurish , no mate, i have to send just 2k, and being a student i don't transfer such high amount.

As per the message, you should contact your branch or just wait till 5days get over. And see if you can transfer then? also, NEFT requests can also be submitted at branch.

I think the issue is that you are trying to 'schedule' a transfer as its done during non NEFT hours. Why don't you try to initiate the transfer during working hours?
