Just spoke to sudhir, The stuff has been shipped by SycThe and should arrive here in a week or so. Sudhir has no internet access in and around his area of work, thus he is unable to come online.

Calm down and wait for your confirmations and clarifications.

Please do not tell me, no cyber cafe is in the vicinity of 2-3 kms from his home/work. Silence does not mean, all is fine. Phoenix has an excellent rating here, so we believe him, but communication is important regarding monetary transactions. At least for me.

I don't mean to be an @$$, but at least I had the courtesy to update the situation instead of simply talking here. So whatever concerns you have.. voice it to phoenix. Give him a call, instead of showing your temper here.

and, just for your info: the first shipment of any product is never smooth, it takes time, effort and a lot of work to get it here. At least someone made the effort.

^Guys ,I spoke to Sudhir yesterday .Unfortunately he still has some issues with his internet and has not been able to log into TE. Rest assured, the shipment should arrive soon and we guys will mostly have our goodies by the coming week.

Incase anyone has issues ,they can contact Sudhir on his cell.I guess he had PMed everyone his number earlier.

I just went through the thread and i seem to understand you have a issue with people who ship you on time and also who do not .I wonder what other kind of traders there are ,anyways call him and ask him ,When Material is imported we all get extra enthusiastic about it but sometimes the deadlines are never met ,this makes resentment with some people ,But lots of people are involved in the import process and sometimes things at some point do get stuck leave the trader no choice but to wait .Same is the case with roccat ,I have been given assurance that the material would be here in jan 2010 end its nearing march 2010 end .

Heck, the material can arrive 'n' number of days later, but I should be told about it, or the thread should be respectively updated. Yes, I could have called up Phoenix, but I see that as unprofessional since the medium of dealing is TE forums (read threads/posts). Calling on the phone would be a last resort, and we are far from that yet.

Shipments getting bottle necked / delayed is understandable, but lack of communication is not. At least that is the way I operate.

You aren't the only one waiting in line here, all of us are. If you must know the area he resides in or works in .. sify has been down for days now, and 90% of the cyber cafes/homes use the same connection.
The lack of communication is understood. That is why some of us are trying to keep the thread updated on behalf of sudhir. So i dont see the point of complaining about the same.
Sudhir has been here for years and has never failed to deliver his products and always keeps his commitments. Things like these happen once in a while. How you work, might be there, how this forum works is also to be considered, and so far there havent been any tragic cases as such. If you would like to voice your concerns, it would be better to talk to him directly.

I am aware of Sudhir's reputation here. And have never doubted it. I was replying to Amarbir, cause he apparently was putting meaning in my posts which I never intended. Classic case of putting words in ones mouth, and blowing a trumpet here. I appreciate Dr. Sankhadeep and SoMxNemesis updating on Sudhir's behalf. If I had doubts about Sudhir's integrity I would have been calling him up like crazy. Which is not the case.

I guess, I am participating in my first deal here, so lesson learnt. Sorry.

Nothing to apologize here for. Asking for an update doesn't tantamount to being impatient or having a problem with people who don't ship on time. For those of us who don't have a close working relationship with existing traders, an update is invaluable, especially when payment has been made, however little that might be. Nobody has doubted Sudhir's credibility as a dealer.

I have been a TE member for almost 4 years now, and this is my first trade on TE(hehe). Just my rotten luck lol!!!
