Incorrect, this controller does work with SOME PS3 games. I have the F710 which is the wireless equivalent of the F310 with rumble. You need to change the switch on the controller from Xinput[X] to DirectInput[D] and keep tapping any of the face buttons while the console boots.

Not all PS3 games work with this but a majority of them do.
