dingemini312 just switch off the TV, take something soothing and try to have a good night's sleep. The usual blame game is going on between the parties each trying to capitalise on it and the state & centre start to pass the buck.

Tho i think after these incidents the state & the centre will have no choice but to create something more concrete. It's very important for the incumbent party to do something in the short term, elections coming up next yr :)
 
Ahh, if the chicoms join in, we'll have to wait for Sammy dada to help us. Besides, depends where the chicoms come from. NE or over the himalayas...they'll take day, if not weeks to get close to any major population center. By then we'll be done with the pakis.

If they attempt to com in from Pakistan, they'll enter through the karakoram highway. Not that hard to block a thin highway surrounded by jagged rocks. And we don't even need an aircraft as a delivery platform.. a couple of Brahmos thudding into mountainsides will be enough to create a landslide and block the damn highway for good.
 
actually i am not watching TV. (not been from past 4 hrs)

I am tensed ..... tensed a lot.

my girlfriend travels everyday from mumbai to navi mumbai for classes via train.

my mom goes to the local market/bazaar everyday.

I myself use public transport and other utilities.

my friends also follow the same path.

i dont want to see any of the above dying... not like this.

hence i find no reason for me to sleep calmly... as they say MUMBAI is on RED alert

PS:

but still as i know watever i do... wont make a difference, i`ll just try to sleep and pass it like a bad dream.
 
Yes, i can certainly understand that given what happened there not so long ago. If the city is on high alert then it will be harder to pull of such events. I was surprised to hear they defused a live bomb today near a main shopping mall in Bangalore. That's an encouraging example of vigilant citizens. These guys have no advantage but surprise, they will have to pick another target and if they do, clearer patterns will emerge, clues trickle in, they tighten the noose around their own necks.

Given that none to date have been suicide attacks, these types must have some instinct of self-preservation.
 
Oh and these guys have made some very important ppl look bad.

India must react to this....its high time we start taking stringent actions against the people who spread terrorism in the hearts of people....I will hate our politicians even more if they just kept quite by only issuing a high alert...and giving loads of money to the suffered people...they do this everytime but never take strict actions....and these type of incidents come back again and again to haunt us...
 
INDIA can never and will never attack....... not even after sustaining many aggressions from the other side. even our defensive side has got FU*KD.

GOD SAVE US.......

the thing is that....

if they plant bombs here , then we die....

if we go to war, then we die.....

dying for the 2nd option is worth it IMO...... coz this thing shall END (not fully.. but to a very BIG extent)
 
India does have a no agression policy, but it does not mean if we are attacked in a conventional sense we don't respond. In fact given the way we have been arming i really don't see that happening. Our economy has been roaring since Kargil, that means a lot of money for hardware. India has been in the top 3 arms purchasers for quite a few yrs now, why do you think all those heads of state keep coming here.

Assymetric attacks as seen recently are the only viable method but it remains to be seen how effective they are.

I dont hate them....just pity them. a country with no future. and yes they totally deserve it as they are more bothered about Kashmir than their own country.

Well you see a Pakistani reading all this is bound to hate us....we r the same as they r...

but i wud be honest on this that they deserve for all their crimes against humanity...Their government is supporting terrorism elements from the day of partition and still does tat under the cover of peace talks and all....

The logic in India is fairly simple ... they hate us so we shud hate them too

I'm not blaming their govt. The nation was formed on formula of going against India. So they can not afford to deviate from the path their forefathers lay for them.

Its the people, they should wake up from the dreams and the give up hope of taking anything from India. Most Indians don't give rats crap bout pakis. Everyone knows there is no hope for them. One day there will be only two kinds of pakis left on earth. One in grave other driving taxi.
 
I am ashamed to be born in a country where the leader is no better than a eunuch, I prefer having b00by darling as the Prime Minister, atleast (s)he can take a few decisions herself. Now where is the f00kin prime minister?No message from him on the telly, guess he must be consulting sonia gandhi now.

And people saying singh is king cos his govt benefited their community by increasing reservations or something clearly shows how the mentality in this country is, I am ashamed to see educated people siding with this govt which does nothing but "Divide and Rule". Now this govt which practices Divide and rule is asking people of different communities to join in and unite as one, talk about irony eh?

After 22nd July, I rate Narsimha rao more than the Manmohan singh, atleast the guy had balls to bribe the MPs on his own rather than relying on Sonia gandhi to bribe them while he was hiding in a corner, what a phucking bunch of morons rule this country.

This country is d00med, God willing I'll leave this $hithole at the earliest.

Sometimes I wonder who runs this country, the country seems like an unsynchronized circus run by god in his spare time.

Bullshit. If you're that pissed about the government then get into politics and change things. And no one will stop you if you, like millions before you, will migrate to some other country. Go ahead, do it, don't expect any of us to care.

I've told you that we've been retaliating since 2002, look it up. We've not been sitting idle. Just because we dont have pictures of our tanks in Islamabad and our bombers dropping cluster munitions doesn't mean that we're not replying.
