Unfortunately I have shifted to a limited internet scheme for a month & have to watch my downloads now.My cap is 700 megs, so can't afford to blow it off.

I have Serious Sam II though & that's a proper one.If you want we can try that.

So I guess everone has Serious Sam 2? We shall play that then.

It doesn't have nearly as many enemies per level as SS:FE (which is a really fun overkill) but the totally awesome graphics, maps and music will make up for it :).
 
are you hosting it yourself, or are you playing it on that ruskie server? im getting a ping of around 45 to techenclave.com. if you have an ip of any indian server (any game not necessarily ss) pass it on so i can check if itll be playable for me. also, which game are u finalized on? ss2?
 
Anyone of us with the best internet connection can host the server.

Pings don't matter much in this game. I played on random servers with 400ms and it was perfectly fine since you aren't fighting real players but big, dumb, slow moving creatures.

We are going to play Serious Sam 2. That is the newest one with DX9 graphics and not to be confused with The Second Encounter.

Make sure everyone has the latest 2.070 patch as well.

Btw, everyone who is acquiring the game, DON'T get ripped releases. They can't be patched. Moreover the music in this game isn't something you want to miss ;).
 
Tonight around 10:30?

First time will be a testrun of sorts.
Next time onwards I'll set up a proper server config that will amp up monster strength beyond the highest difficulty allowed and will also enable infinite ammo.

Password protected it because the foreigners kept filling up all the slots.
Also reduced the difficulty a bit as everyone was getting raped :P.
 
damn, i got up a few hours too late. btw, when i was searching for servers using the in-game browser only 5 or 6 servers showed up. will the fact that im in the states mean it will only show servers that are relatively nearby? if so, im going to need an ip.
 
The server was up for an hour but noone from TE joined :(.

I think you should be able to see servers from all around the world. Nevertheless I'll post an IP as well the next time around.

Btw, anyone else want to host the server? I am on a 2.5gb monthly limit and hosting a server for 6 players for just 15 minutes used up around 35mb down and 20mb up :|.
