Sex for promotion: Man forces wife to be gang-raped for 12 years

that super-b@$tard deserves some serious 'unnatural' punishment! the usual cacophony of "let law take its own course" and all that jail-court trips alone just don't cut in for such cases!

How can a man do this to his wife man? I really can't think of what punishment he should be given. He even thought of forcing his daughters to flesh trade for promotion? :O

he shouldnt be given death panalty but he should be given what he wanted 'promotion'
jailed on a separate cell ... shouldnt be allowed to talk to any one .... shouldnt be allowed to see a day light .... shouldnt be allowed to eat all 3 meals only one is enough with water so that he doesnt die

give him mental torture for 12yrs

Make the man drink poison, immediately afterwards shoot him in the abdomen and make him stand in front of an oncoming train.
Nope.. Still not enough.

Such people should be locked up with psycho homos. Bloody immoral scums.. Living off on wife's earning is a sin itself.. This is beyond comprehension. What a lowly fellow.

He also threatened to throw their daughters into flesh trade if she resisted

Well what do you know.. He is the devil indeed.. In flesh.

Why is India's name dragged here?

Monsters are monsters, region no bar!
Why , don't you feel proud when an 'Indian Born (but raised outside)' kid wins Spelling Bee contest or and 'Indian Born' scientist make a breakthrough?
Why drag country there? Kids are kids, scientist are scientists .

Oh, you are referring to how crimes against women is India's claim to fame just like spelling bee champs and AB Indian scientists!
The guy in question here is an out and out monster in the league of Ariel Castro, Joseph Fritzl etc.[DOUBLEPOST=1378697550][/DOUBLEPOST]

What you said. :( :( :(. Wake up Indians. Please before its too late.

Waking up people from centuries old slumber will take more than just a while. There's nothing you or me can do to expedite this process.

I don't even feel shocked now with these kinda news.
Its a good thing i feel.

We are becoming more comfortable about printing such things in the media. Talking about it.

Raises awareness, helps to deal with the issue when you shine a light on it.

Not exactly. We have become used to the fact that these things will keep coming out and all that is gonna happen is
1) Police wont register a case as they want to avoid filing a bad report regarding their area
2) Courts will keep handing over x yrs of improsnment/life terms.

Nothing short of a death penalty will rattle the culprits/potential culprits. It has become an accepted norm that such things will keep happening and after months of deliberation the soft quantum of punishment will be handed over. Delay in justice/verdict seems to have done more damage than lenient punishments. Look at the fresh example of that lunatic who threatened a fellow TE member with the disgusting threats.

All in all, the nation seems to have gone soft.

That's a cynical take. We is screwed, nothing will change bla bla.

1) needs to be addressed, why is the police not registering the case. more cases come out where people do not bother to report and the same will continue. There is no excuse here.

2) it does not even get this far in a lot of cases. That is the problem. Either the victim gets intimidated or bought off, etc.

My point is you read about such cases much more often now than before. Where on foreign boards, the impression is we have a rape problem. We do. Its much easier for a rapist to get away here than elsewhere. Some indians don't like this added publicity because it makes them feel bad. Tough shit.

Basic flaw in that thinking is that a rapist will murder his victim afterwards. You don't want to make them do that.

If convicted a rapist will have a tough time surviving in prison because most inmates see them as a threat. They are inside and cannot protect their women.

Our laws are too weak. people are not scared anymore. The recent mild sentence given to the juvenile convicted in the nirbhaya case is proof of that.
The human rights people come running to save such people.
Hence people do whatever they want to.

You think the rapists are doing their acts because human rights activists are there to shield them?

The mild sentence was due to the fact that the definition of "juvenile" is very broad in India and the same age limit applies to all crimes, even very serious ones. This should be something the government should be looking at changing, along with many other issues that need to be addressed, both through laws and action.

Don't take a cheap shot at human rights groups using this issue.
