Re: I want help with psu

It helps when you mention your entire system configuration if you really need good advice, or else people will end up speculating which might end up giving you wrong advice :)

Re: I want help with psu

actually i wanted 2 know about the brand is it worth trusting,

my config is

c2d e6350 1.8ghz

4HDD ( (i)250-IDE,(ii)250 X 2 sata ,(iii) 1TB sata)

nvidia 7600gs

lg dvd rw

1 ccfl

planning to upgrade my gfx and processor shortly,

gfx will be htx250 or something of that range ,

and processor c2d 3.0GHz

Re: I want help with psu

oh thanks ,

but is there any special reason for not to take circle psu,

has any 1 experienced it or something

Re: I want help with psu

first. there is no GPU named htx250. maybe you are referring to GTS250. And core2duo is thing of the past. core i3/i5/i7 are going to replace c2d/c2q.

And you don't need a 600W PSU even if you buy GTS250 and core i3/i5.

The reason I said no for Circle 600W is:

1) It's not 80 PLUS certified which means it will be power hungry
2) Relatively unknown brand
3) not able to find any webpage related to circle brand
4) support is a big question mark.

now, compare it to Corsair VX450W that is available for 4k:

Welcome to Corsair :: VX Power Supply Product Information

This one is a legendary product.

Do a google search for "corsair VX450w review" and read those reviews and you will know.

Buy everything at the same time if you are not sure what you are going to buy.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo

Increase budget by 700 and buy vx450

Ok

you fall in love with Circle PSU!!

But before marrying Circle PSU please check its virginity here

Why not just get a normal VIP 400W?? It should be wayyyy more than enough. Also Enter is a cheap shit brand that imports non-branded Chinese goods and re-brands them.

I made the mistake of buying a Circle Capsule cabinet, it is of such low quality that the screws dont even get tightened in it. Brand new screws, brand new cabinet. The aluminium body bends on the lightest tough and there is noway of attaching the front fan. Holes are there, but no way to put screws, as the plastic front has been riveted on.

Absolute waste of 900 Bux. Overpriced low-quality crap.

^ VIP 400W is certainly not enough for his requirements. Even if it was, it is not at all a good PSU by any means.

Forget the circle. Don't even look at it, don't even bother wasting time to spit at it.

Just get the Corsair VX450.

Stay away from that new company. Also we dont know anything abt its after sales service. So I think its better to buy VX450. Or minimum CX400.
