Sorry, missed that. Else you have a well rounded rig. Not much more you can do to it.

Unless you really want to spend the cash:
Sell the 275, and get a 295. Will the board support internal SLI. But even with the 275, you should be managing quite well on your monitor.

Sell the GTX 275 and get ATI 5870 - 26k

but perf inc wont be much.
i mean i get bout 65-70 fps in DIRT 2 (1920x1080, 4xMSAA,max settings) & 5870 gives bout 75fps (acc to reviews).
so spending xtra cash for only 5-6fps is not a gud idea.

is getting a xbox 360 Arcade a gud idea?

ATI 5870 - 26k is DX11. It is futureproof

Spending on Xbox 360 is waste coz new Xbox will be coming with DX11 support in 2011

Quick suggestion. Next time , open a new thread for your question as your upgrade dilemna has highjacked this thread.

Nway, to answer your question i would suggest stick to your current build. Your rig is more than enough to play all games out there with all the frills and eye candy and getting an xbox is just gonna be a downgrade unless there is some xbox 360 exclusive game that you cant live without!

And unless you have cash to burn, i suggest stick with your current GPU. Upgrading to a 5870 is waste just for DirectX 11 now as it doesnt offer a substantial upgrade over your current GTX 275 in terms of performance.

If you want the latest graphics card for the show off rig or DirectX 11, wait for the fermi release for a drop in 5870 prices and even consider a fermi depending on DirectX 11 games market then.

So the current OPs CPU (E4600) will be the same as the E8400 oc'ed...?

no....

E4600 is 65nm and E8400 is in 45nm. It has a higher multiplier and hence stock clock is higher. Also, the E8400 has 6MB of L2 cache. So its far better than a 4600.
